The Sisters and I listen to this on rainy mornings. In the morning I often gaze at droplets, glittering in the pale light, remembering when we used to sing together.

Submit me your communication via the submit button.
Include your character’s name and where your character is from in the text line.
Length and Format
You must submit your own work.
Your communication can be a video, photos, or writing
Your communication must be no longer than 30 seconds, 250 words, or no more than 10 photos.
If you’re sending multiple photos, you’ll need to collage them onto one page, since you can only submit one photo at a time.
Communication Parameters
Make sure to follow the communication parameters when creating your communication.
Colors and Emotions
For every communication after your first you must take a color and an emotion from someone else's communication and incorporate it into yours.
Frequency of Play
You must wait for 3 communications from others to appear before you can submit a new communication.
Ask Questions
After 3 of your communications have been posted, ask someone else a question about themselves. To do this, write the question down, take a picture of it, and submit that photo. That person must answer in a subsequent post.
The Sickle That Weeps
I can alter the main rules any time I want. I am one of The Sickle that Weeps, after all. I just want to harvest as much as I can.
Please do invite more people to play
It does get so lonely here.
Safety
Everything has to be submitted to me for approval.
Please don’t make anything violent or pornographic. If it’s difficult and tastefully nude, that’s ok. Just remember, the images and videos are public.
Follow the rules and guidelines of Tumblr and any other site you might use to host your images or sounds (vimeo, youtube, facebook, instagram, twitter, soundcloud, vine)
Visual Techniques
This isn’t really a competition. Things don’t have to look professional or amazing or live up to any standards your world might reinforce. Think of it as an experiment. This is just for fun.
I can give you some advice on how to make things look interesting though. Ripe for harvest.
Use your phone camera, an actual camera, or your webcam. All these will work.
Must be original artwork made by you.
Use a neat photo filter, edit afterwards, or make things not entirely in focus. That makes them look pretty neat.
Be thoughtful about your colors. Pick one or two to focus on, or create a color palette.
Try different angles and perspectives. Try shooting from above, below, far, and near.
Don’t have the subject/object of your images be directly in the center of the screen. Vary their placement in different areas of the screen.
Consider what’s in the background. Show as much or little as you’d like.
Add in sound or music during or afterwards if you want!
Try to have between 3-10 different shots. They can be photos or video.
Send them to me however you can, in whatever format you can.
Having trouble? Ask Me Anything. There’s a link, friend.
The Rules Part 2
Communication Parameters
I want to get to know you. There will only be images, sound, words, color, light, objects. We won’t really be able to see you, but you’ll be there.
I know it’s hard to know what to focus on. What do you pick to share, out of all of the things you could? How can you share yourself in so short a time.
Here are the communication parameters you must follow when making your communication.
Share your name.
Share what place you’re from within the Glittering Sector or the Wilds of the Way.
Show us what your place is like, and why it’s located in one of these two places in our Great Milky Way.
Show us images, sound, words, color, light, places, or objects. Remember, though, this is about you, so make them things that are significant to you!
Show us something alien and beautiful about your world.
I want to know how you’re feeling right now. Express an emotion. Be vulnerable.
I want you to have interesting sounds or music. I don’t know what sounds are like in your world! Share one significant one with me.
I want you to say something. It can be anything, just make sure it’s who you really are.
I want to know something you desire.
I want to see objects and places that are important to you. What do they mean to you? How are you showing that?
There’s so many worlds out there, I can’t even begin to imagine what might exist. Neither can you, I’m betting. We’re still human, more or less, but we might not be from Earth anymore. We might be part native species, part machine, memories of people who used to be, electrodes floating in the ether… things I haven’t even imagined yet. I’m sure we can all exist together, out there, and in here.
The Rules Part 1
From the Transmission Hub at Tellurex in the Glittering Sector
Hello. We’ve never met before.
My name is Kitallurenz. I’m from the glittering oceans of Tellurex in the Glittering Sector. I am one of the Sickle that Weeps, and my tears feed my lonely sisters dreams. Loneliness is a sister to us all, and we comfort her with our visions. They call us The Sickle because we reap dream, vision, beauty, we harvest it. It doesn’t hurt though. We don’t keep it forever, we just make copies, we take copies, we are copies.
Ever since we’ve travelled out into The Beyond things have been different, right? We don’t knock on each other’s doors and sit together in parlors like we used to, we’re all in different worlds out beyond Sol, to the most delicate tendrils of our Great Milky Way. Everything is more or less the same, though, our landscapes more similar than we could’ve imagined. If you’re receiving this, you’re out here on the perimeter with me, somewhere in the Glittering Sector or the Wilds of the Way.
Even in all this beauty out beyond the stars, in some ways I yearn for the connections our ancestors had. I want to connect to you again. Maybe I’m a little old fashioned, but I think its kinda cool to see what someone else sees, to get inside your head, to connect to you, really feel you.
We love visions, especially new ones. I’m seeking new things, new visions, to feed to our loneliness. I want to get to know you. We have so many walls up though, our worlds are so different from each other. Play this game with me, so we can find out more about our worlds, about ourselves? I’m sure you’re not so different from me.
