so the very first thing I remember is there being some sort of #rememberlilith or smt along those lines tag because everyone thought a fairly popular user named lilith killed herself

lilith didn't kill herself

there was the war on xenogenders, the war on neopronouns, the war on the qualifications to be bisexual(??)

^ all these were between lilith and another user named ronnie. they made up and were chill and apologized to each other cause the arguments were stupid and then they both left the app

there was the war constituting if gacha comics were considered "real comics" because you could post comics on ibis, and a lot of people were mad that gacha comics ranked higher in the leaderboard as opposed to handdrawn comics which took longer to make

then there was an argument about qna/filler episodes, the argument being that they didnt add anything to the story and were only there to make the comic rank higher as it updated more often

then there was the longest lasting war between proshippers and antishippers, but more specifically the war against shotacons because people were upset some users were posting uncensored porn on the app as well as explicit writing that often involved incest, large age gaps, etc etc

as that cooled down there was conflict between users sam and alex (the same users that would post uncensored porn and explicit content from above) and user ellie

sam and alex pushed ellie into eating disorders/making her current eating disorder, would bully her, call her fat, make fun of her body, tell her she wasn't self harming right

sam and alex also often posted photos of their own self harm and promoted disordered eating on their accounts

and then sam doxxed ellie and someone called doxxed sam and called the police on him

and then i stopped keeping up with the ibis community

also at least 3 popular artists killed themselves somewhere along the way
