I have greatly enjoyed using this french fry cutter. It has several features that I find very appealing in a machine like this. First off, it has a suction cup base, which can be a bit of a pain to operate, but overall is a useful function of the machine, as it keeps it from sliding all over the place. It also has a few different plates that it comes with, and I would recommend experimenting with the different plates to find which one works best for you based on the vegetable that you are slicing up. That brings me to the third awesome feature, which is that it works with other vegetables, such as carrots and parsnips. The fries that come out with the default base plate are a good size and thickness, maybe a bit thinner than your average frozen fry, but a bit thicker than fast food fries. I found this machine pretty easy to utilize overall, but the company has a decent video on how to use it as well. The one caveat with this product is that I would sometimes have to cute the potato in half to make it fit in the machine, but that was only a minor annoyance as I was happy with shorter fries. Overall I would recommend this product, it works well! I received this item for free or heavily discounted in return for a honest and unbiased review.
