what does the kitetsu in 'kitetsu sword' means??

Kitetsu ( 鬼鉄 ) literally means demon iron. The manga mentions how the kitetsu swords are made from the iron sand that is left when an Oni dies. that iron sand is what they call kitetsu.
When they talk about the swords the japanese word is “kitetsutou” 鬼鉄刀 so it would mean demon iron sword/ demon sword, and when they talk about the bikes the word is 鬼鉄騎 “kitetsuki” ( Musashi and Kojirou just call them 鉄の馬“iron horse” ) which would mean something among the lines of demon iron rider or horse, since the ki is the jap counter for horsemen…
