For the if they had a kit meme, I never really shipped this hardcore, and medcat kits are a yikes, but I think their kits could be an interesting idea just for fun!! Needletail and Alderheart?

I think they'd have two kits!

Names: Flowernose (named after Dandelionkit) and Stormgaze (named after Sandstorm)

Genders: Flowernose is a tom and Stormgaze is a she-cat

General appearances: Flower takes after his mom pelt color wise, but he's actually be quite fluffy. He's got almost no white in his pelt, except for a tiny dash on the tip of his nose. He has his father's amber eyes which look interesting against his silver pelt.

Storm is a dilute tortie. She’s sleek like her mother, but has a fluffy tail like her dad. She has very bright green eyes like her mom’s. Her tortoiseshell marking are a perfect combination of both her mother and father's colors, sort of like Tawnypelt's.

Personalities: Flowernose is a quiet tom with a fiercely loyal heart. He does whatever is right and is always loyal to friends and family. He’s not an aggressive cat but he'll attack someone if need be.

Stormgaze is a vigilant she-cat, which is one of the reasons she was named the way she was. As a kit, she mostly stayed quiet, tucked away in the nursery as she watched the other kits play. But as she got older, she began to gain her mother's attitude. She's pretty cocky and can be rude at times. When she insults you, she cuts deep, knowing most cat's insecurities thanks to her vigilance.

Special Talents: Flowernose is an excellent tracker, which gave him his name. Some cats say he can track a mouse from one border to the other, but he's pretty humble about it. He's also an excellent hunter thanks to his tracking skills.

After spending some time in the medicine den, Stormgaze picked up on herbs and their healing abilities. Alderheart was surprised when she was able to pick out one herb from the other when asked. He asked her if she wanted to become a medicine cat, but she refused, knowing she is an excellent fighter.

Who they like better: Stormgaze is a daddy's girl and Flowernose is a mommy's boy. But they love them both equally. They’d have a tough time choosing if you asked who they loved more. Stormgaze spent more time in the med den because of her love of spending time with her father, and Flowernose loves hunting with his mom.

Who they take after more: Appearance wise, Flowernose takes after both, while Stormgaze takes after Needletail more than Alderheart. Personality wise they take after both their parents.

Personal Headcanons: Flowernose never had a problem being half-Clan. He just kind of accepted the fact and moved on, especially since lots of cats in the Clans are half-Clan.

Stormgaze always wanted to be best friends with her cousin (once removed I believe), Snappaw (not her name in the rewrite but whatever). She spent a lot of time with her, as much as she could. She tried to seem aloof and uninterested in her, but she kind of failed.

Trivia (Instead of face claim):

They had a tough time deciding who goes where Clan wise, but after a while, Flowernose joined his mom in ShadowClan and Stormgaze stayed in ThudnerClan with her dad. It was an extremely hard thing to do, especially for Flowernose since he had to gain his new Clan's trust, but they managed. They speak a lot at Gatherings and sometimes meet at the lake shore with their parents just to see each other.

Alderheart and Needletail are actually still mates. They know they shouldn't be, but Leafpool has retired so Alderheart is the last medicine cat in the Clan so no one can make him step down. No cat? Really cares either? Jayflight and Lionblaze are a little upset, but never enough to hate him. And they love Storm and Flower to bits too

Flowerpaw stayed in ThunderClan for about a half a moon before joining ShadowClan. He trained under Twigbranch (as her first apprentice, Flypaw was someone else's), and she was kind of one who influenced his choice to leave.

Stormgaze trained under Sorrelstripe and they're now really close friends.
