Welp I’m being savage to @bukoya-star
You can tell a lot about someone by the type of music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your iPod, phone, itunes, media player etc and write down the first 20 songs. Then pass this on to 10 people. one rule: no skipping! 1. A Team- Ed Sheeran
2. Once Upon a December (German)- Anastasia
3. BGM Colhen Inn- Vindictus
4. Candy- Riyu Kosaka

A taxi adventure!
So today has just been really intense for me. I've been up since about 0630 local to get to an appointment with my doctor early in the morning before work. I got some good news while I was there in that I should be getting Sex Reassignment Surgery in the late spring or early summer which is super exciting and utterly terrifying.
Things went downhill when I stopped off to refill my hormones and got slapped with a bill for 225$, instead of the 50-70 that it usually costs me. Many hours and phone calls later it was resolved with BC medical services and my coverage was reinstated but not before the stress of not being able to afford my hormones had caused me to break down and cry while at work.
Added to that, my family is now outright stating that their refusal to use my preferred (soon to be legal) name and pronouns is actually all my fault and that they are nothing but accommodating and accepting. More and more I'm feeling lost here and really having to fight the urge to uproot myself and run away.
I want to start over, somewhere new where no one knows me. Somewhere that I can be Terra without worrying about people remembering me as Luke,
I just want to be me,
I want my family to actually accept me instead of just tolerating me.
To give you an idea, when my father and step mother got married, I was made to feel generally unwelcome, shunned during the reception, and publicly mocked.
And yet its my fault, according to them.
My step mom has gone on to say that she is happy that I have friends that are supportive, but that I shouldn't choose my friends before my family.
My friends are more family to me than my blood relations are. They have stood by me through everything, offered me support unconditionally, actually cared enough to ask me how I'm doing.
I think I've made the right choice
A rather lovely evening with my father and step mom was utterly ruined by my pretentious and transphobic step brother. Have now stated to my family that I will be spending Christmas alone because I do not feel comfortable around him.
Why I love dinner with my family (sometimes)
Dad: (to my step brother after he made a slightly transphobic comment) You're a White, Anglo-Saxon prick
