Black is my version of Fellswap Sans. He's Wolf's older brother! He’s 5′1″ or 155 cm. He’s 510 years old and his birthday is on December 15. He’s a Sagittarius. 

Black is a...complicated person. He has a lot of love to give, a lot of joy despite the harsh way he speaks to people. He’s quite blunt in his delivery on things and sarcasm is his best friend. However, Black craves meaningful relationships whether romantic or platonic but doesn’t think he deserves them. He’s got a lot of self-hate and truly believes he’s worthless. That no one would miss him if he wasn’t around. He’s spent many years battling his severe depression but is slowly working towards gaining a healthier attitude towards himself. It will take him a long time but living with the others of the 14 helps a lot, especially Wine who is his best friend. Wine is the best friend he’s probably ever had and has started giving him the courage to be who he is. 

Black is a masculine leaning, genderfluid using He/Him pronouns. He does not like She/Her or They/Them. Those pronouns don’t sit right with him in reference to himself and pronouns have never made someone’s gender. However, Black has only come out to one person in regards to being genderfluid and that’s Wine who is also genderfluid. There are many in the 14 who have guessed or figured it out but keep it to themselves as it’s not their job nor is it appropriate for them to out Black before he’s comfortable doing so. Wine has been quite vital in helping Black feel more comfortable with who he is and even holds onto any feminine clothing Black has in his closet, so Black can take his time, no one will find out but he can still have the clothes that make him feel more himself. 

Onto his job and education! Black is quite smart and clever, and like Vi, he’s a lawyer! Unlike Vi though, he’s a Criminal Defense Attorney meaning he represents the criminals or the people being charged with a crime. He’s a partner with a private firm called Martin & Danzer Law, with a high win rate with his cases. There have been times he and Vi have gone against each other in court with full disclosure to the client, District Attorney and Judge of their relationship (”cousins”). They love going against each other in court as it’s their favourite challenge since they’re both very accomplished lawyers. He’s got a Doctor of Judicial Science and a Master of Laws degrees. 

In his Underground and Universe, Black was Captain of the Guard with Alphys serving as his Lieutenant. He’s quite powerful with his own set of Blasters and a scythe he can summon to fight with. Black can also pair this with his Special Ability which is that he’s incredibly aerodynamic. Basically, he can push the magic to the bottom of his feet which reacts with the literal air itself allowing him to push off the air. In simple terms, he can walk on air or more accurately “air jump” since he can’t stand on the air itself, he can only propel himself.

He loves to cook, spar, and listen to music. Like Blue, he also destresses by going out to find one-night stands or random hookups. He finds these easier than trying to find an actual relationship where he might have to face his insecurity about thinking he’s unlovable. He adores eating pop-tarts and if they’re bought on grocery day no one else gets any as Black will steal them all, horde them or eat them in one sitting but spicy food is his big favourite. Black loves spicy dishes and the spicier the better. 

He hates coffee(the drink) along with most caffeinated drinks however, he will drink tea. He dislikes jokes about his height and people judging him without knowing him.  

Wolf and Black are incredibly close as brothers. Black is extremely amazing at calming Wolf’s panic attacks and is good to allow him to clingy to him when they’re out in public since Wolf gets nervous in crowds. Black is very gentle with Wolf however, they do fight like all brothers do. Wolf usually just refers to him as “sans” or “black” if he’s speaking to someone who doesn’t know the secret BUT if Wolf thinks Black is up on his “high horse” or acting a bit overbearing he’ll start calling him “m’lord”. It’s usually done in a teasing way. Black hates that nickname. Basically, the easiest way for me to describe how much these two care for one another when Wolf was a babybones, his first coherent words to Black were “I love you” because he heard his older brother say it to him so much that he started repeating it. 

Black is Brave, Independent, Proud, a Leader and Intelligent but he’s also Stubborn, Blunt, Cynical, Bossy and Severely Insecure. 

He smells of Pine and his magic tastes of Grapefruit.
