miami vice
Still thinking about Miguel everyday. And in my search for 80s nostalgia that remotely relates to him, I've started watching Miami Vice. I like seeing the references but they did Crockett dirty by using his likeness for Stansfeld (≧▽≦)
On the same tangent, I've come to learn there's a show that came out a couple years ago about Griselda Blanco. She was a Colombian drug lord who was a big player in the Miami drug scene from the 70s to the 00s. Welp I guess I gotta watch Stella's backstory next.
Milk Run Trailer
I love these fan-made 'trailers'. They're so cool. I'm rationing my watching of them so I won't go through them all too fast. Lazarus A Game has been making these for years. The most recent was 5 months ago. I love the dedication.
I think the point of the Little Miss Dangerous episode is you can't save Little Miss Dangerous. Cat and Rico both attempt to save her, Cat with more self-serving motives than Rico, but neither of them can. I think it's a critique of the idea that if super damaged character A got with not or less damaged character B or was helped by character B, suddenly all of character A's mental/emotional issues would be resolved. You see this in tv, movies, and published books sometimes, especially if character A is a woman, but it's much more common in fanfiction.
yay
I don't think that's exactly what he said but I'm not averse to the idea
The 80s hit differently when it came to firearms... and Hollywood didn't disappoint, either.
