I’ve reached my fucking limit

I decided to download kitten match, a game I played and very much enjoyed when I was younger.

I downloaded it, excited to relive fond memories and hopefully have some fun.

I open up the game, and what do I see?

Everything, except for some game assets and the cat models, is Ai generated.

The gorgeous backgrounds have been completely replaced with Ai, the loading screens are Ai generated, there was a whole cutscene that happened that I’m pretty sure was just a bunch of AI generated images. And I feel so fucking betrayed.

I LOVED this game. It was so cozy and so fun. And the Ai completely ruins that warm feeling it gave off.

I didn’t have a good look, and it is the middle of the night as of posting this, so maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they just made some weird design choices

but I’m pretty sure. I had a look at the advertisements and they were fully ai aswell. No denying it. They made another game that just looks… disgusting, cause of all the Ai.

I want to say that I’m angry, but more than anything I’m heartbroken. The reason I downloaded this game again is because I tried to play a similar game that just didn’t have the same, lovely vibe it gave off. And it just makes me feel so sad

I hate AI generated things. And this has sent me over the edge. We can’t have anything special anymore, our favourite things are being ruined.

I know this is a stupid thing to vent about, but I keep seeing the Kitten Match advert and I hate it.

Cat gets abandoned, cat is expecting kittens...someone sees the mother cat doing her best and decides to "adopt" the kittens.

Never do this!

Rescue the mother cat as well! What's the matter with you? If the kittens are still living on milk, they need her.

Take all of them to a vet. They've been living rough and you don't know what they might need.

Take the lot of them to an animal shelter if you can't keep all of them. Maybe put your name down for one of the kittens, if you want a kitten.

This is why I hate that advert.

Fuck you Kitten Match. You've been on my last nerve with all your tragic ads, but NONE will be as heinous as the one where the mom cat was hit by a fucking car and the kitten is crying as they lie in the middle of the busy road. Then just as the usual lady protag can get to them, the mom cat passes away. Usually these ads are slightly tolerable because they end happy. But this one? What the fuck is wrong with you people??
