How does one trigger the cat distribution system?
Should I be hanging out by barns? Dumpsters? Keep catnip in my pockets?

Kitten quest..
Losing Derpy was probably one of the most difficult things to have happen to me (which is saying a lot, if you knew me..you'd say, wait a second.. the cat was the worst? But you've had some Grade A Fucked Up Shit happen to you) because that cat fell into my life at a really awful time and gave me a reason to endure.
Plus, Derpy was special. He would roll on his back for you to pet his tummy like a dog, liked to suckle my arms like a dorky kitten and meowed whenever you talked to him.
Of all the cats I've ever loved, Derpy was my favorite. Good cat. best friend. The Bec to my Jade.
I'm still muddling through major depression without the benefit of medication or therapy (yay to no health insurance amirite?!) and there's no way I'm going to make it through late autumn/winter which is when it's ridiculously bad without an animal companion (yeah, Kitteh is still here but he's a dick..plus he's really J's cat anyhow) so I'm looking for a kitten. Despite my dislike of the kitten stage and always going for the 6months and up cats..mostly because I'm hoping that it will really bond with me if it's an itty bitty kitteh.
So keep your fingers crossed, J's co-worker's parents have a litter right now and I'm hoping to find a loud mouthed little derp.
And Derpy Cat, if cat souls come back.. I rly hope you find your way back home to me somehow.
