Sky, Kitten in Field Colony

“The tom is Spot.” Nightpool licked the fluffy head of a white-and black spotted kitten. Next was the brown-and-cream molly, whom Nightpool introduced as Sky. Berry shared her mother’s dark fur with splashes of what must be her father’s ginger tabby, and Hunter was brown with a white muzzle. Each of them mewled in turn when they were licked. “If we’re discussing ranger names, I would like Sky’s given name to come at the end–and perhaps one of them could be called Catcher, after their father? But please don’t take Sky’s name away completely, or Spot’s. That is a very special name to me.”

Will we get designs for Sky, Spot, Hunter, and Berry, Nightpool’s kits before Shaded River comes out? I’m curious if their old designs are the same as the ones that Tennelle did before Clouded Moon switched from Warriors to its own IP. On top of that, has Catcher’s design changed at all?

Berry, Hunter, Sky, and Spot

We draw little headshots of all the characters for our Character Bible and family trees. Obviously, since the family trees are set to the beginning of Shifting Roots and the kittens aren't born yet, you don't see these in there. And since they will be about 3 months old in Shaded River, you wouldn't see this artwork anyway as they'll be older. You'll also see them in the finished Shaded River line up, when we get to it. I do have a rough sketch tho:

As for their father, Catcher: He's the same for the most part. You can read a little about him here
