It’s Kitten Adventure Time at the farm again y’all

Barn kitten update! They’ve been moved to the heated garage (and occasionally into the house apparently lol) because the barn was too cold. I also convinced my mom to get them kitten food, which they are absolutely loving! All the kittens seem healthy and friendly, though developmentally they’re a little behind. My mom thinks it’s because they were born as such a big litter in the cold.

Anyways, here’s hoping they keep on growing! Good luck little kittens!

Dear @the-adventures-of-dave several years ago you let my sibling @zulufic and @belldreams adopt Marmalade (AKA Isaac). I want to thank you for that decision because I truly love this little guy. For the last two years I've had debilitating Long Covid (and a whole slew of other tragedies) which has resulted in my living at my sister's place and being with Isaac. I have so many stories, but for now I just wanted to pass along some photos of the sweet boy for you!

I'm so sorry to hear you were dealing so much these last couple years, but I'm glad that Isaac could help you get through it! Cats are so good at keeping us company through hard times <3 Especially this little guy, I remember him being an absolute snuggle bug!

I also just can't get over how much he looks like Dave now that he's grown up!!

I’m back at the farm and that means I’m back with the KITTENS (and my loving family. But KITTENS)

There’s 3 left and they’re so stinking cute. very friendly too (woo hoo)! The plan is we’re going to try to find some people around here to take them over the next week, but if no one can I’ll be taking them back home to find places there.

As I am typing someone’s inquiring about the bicolour and we also discovered grandma accidentally deleted the kijiji listings for the other kittens. So who knows if I’ll be bringing home kittens or not.

I’m visiting the family farm, where Dave’s sister Beans is a barn cat. It’s crazy how similar they look, even with entirely different markings. They also move similarly and like scratches in the same place, even though they haven’t seen each other since 2018 when they were 12 weeks old. Crazy!

The heatwave claims another victim. Passed away before she could reach the water 😔

RIP to all ex-Saskatchewan barn cats claimed by the Albertan heat wave 😔😔 they will be missed
