I watched Wander Over Yonder for the first time recently and it got me good, super fun cartoon that I highly recommend!

It so happened that while actively playing Ultrakill, I was also playing Dark Souls 3, and for some reason my brain noticed some similarities between Swordsmachine and the Abyss Watchers. Whether it was their appearance or their moveset, I associated these two bosses with each other from then on. And if I imagine what Ultrakill would look like if it was a Soulslike, the fight with Swordsmachine seems kinda like the Abyss Watchers to me. That's the lore of this painting
