I have no problem with otherkin either, except I think it can go to far. Such as I have seen 13-year-olds say they were gods and you had to worship them. I think that is a bit different than just a person who has a spiritual connection to dogs or something

yeah, that makes sense too. I also think some people claim it is related to some mental thing which I forgot which one it was (maybe psychosis or multi personality) and some more cynical people believe it is for attention. Personally, I have no Idea, I always assumed it was just spiritual, but all of those could maybe be reasons. I am probably not the person to ask about this actually
im also not really a good person to talk to about this stuff cus im so neutral about it
i feel like some people go a little too far with it and theres a lot of dumb drama about it on tumblr but if they arent hurting anyone/themselves i dont see why they cant just do what they want
im sure some people do it for attention but whatever i do things for attention too sometimes,whats wrong with attention

i went through a phase in like 8th grade for a few months where i thought i was therian so thats mostly what i know about that kind of stuff
i also know a bunch of people use it as a coping thing which is fair enough since thats basically what i did as a kid
