Dius couldn't figure out why Siska hadn't told him he was dating Cato. It kept nagging at him as some days went by. The question popping up again and again during most unguarded moments. It did occur to him that he could just ask Siska. But Dius didn't want to, if he could avoid it. Siska would just take it as an accusatory thing and it would spark another argument. They were already kind of in an argument, and Dius still didn't know why. Every time he had an interaction with him, the drell was stingier than normal. So his only other option, as Dius saw it, was to get to know Cato. Maybe then some of these question-marks would finally be answered.

The opportunity presented itself one evening when he found Cato by a table in the mess, eating. He stepped over, balancing his own supper on a tray, and stopped by the table. "Hey, mind if I sit down?"
