Can’t you sue your ex for kidnapping your cat and selling him? Or at least threaten legal action unless he tells you who bought your cat so you can reclaim him?
this whole thing happened like 2-3 years ago so idk if i can do anything abt it now :( he wouldn’t even tell me who he sold it to and i didn’t get the cops involved cuz i was way too nice and didn’t want him to possibly get arrested
