Heartstrings
So I went to make a ham sandwich for my father today since he just had a biopsy done and was staying in bed. Well, Unico, my boy cat, came downstairs with me and my oldest dog Goldie, and they both watched me make the sandwich. I started talking to Unico, asking him if he was gonna come up with me for treats, when he let out this little, trilling "Merow."
It was beyond adorable! I've never heard him do that before! So I gave him a tiny piece of ham. Goldie looked all hurt and expectant, so I had to give her a bit too! Then Uni finishes his bit and watches me. I look at him. He gives me that same adorable trilling cry, only louder and stronger now! I tried to ignore him. I did!! But I ended up giving in to him twice more for it. And Goldie since she saw me give it to him. XD
I'm such a pushover when it comes to my cats and dogs. But they are my babies!!
