I have been seeing your posts about your dating struggles and I just wanted to say that I get it! Dating as an alt. lesbian is fucking difficult. Sooooo much of lesbian culture is like coquette and soft and pure. But like what about my sapphics that are weird and off putting and like kinky sex and don't consume popular media and don't have palatable mental illnesses?

hii. i think boiling it down to lesbian culture being coquette and stuff is rlly minimizing. esp cos i dont mind that aesthetic at all. and its all online discourse, in my opinion . i just think goth women have been commodified and forced to be palatable in general. unfortunately we are an incredibly fetishized group and it rlly sucks to go from feeling wanted to being made to feel off-putting and intense . i don't want to compromise on it anymore and if a potential partner doesnt like it, i just dont want to be around them. thats all.
