Thoughts on the latest ep of OUaT?
Ok, this might sound kind of scrambled.
Generally, I really liked it.
I'm loving the vibe of Neverland. I think that the darkness of it and what it's bringing out in everyone is really interesting. The scene with Rumple/Regina was great and I enjoyed Rumple explaining that she's not the diner, she's the dinner. Rose is a fantastic Tinkerbell, and Emma's reaction to possibly working with her was hilarious. I made a separate little rant about this the other day,but I positively loathe the idea of Tink as Belle's mother. I hate it. I really want Belle's complexity to come from her actively making her own story, not just from being attached to someone else's like she is right now. I'm really close to blacklisting Tinkerbell because I'm so sick of seeing this theory on my dash, which is a shame, because I really loved her in this episode.
As always, the Blue Fairy is sketchy as fuq.
Henry was precious.
Charming is 'brave' to a fault, and to me, a lot of his decisions don't make any practical sense.
I could use fewer Snowing flashbacks in my life.
I think Regina took some baby steps forward this week. I really want to ship her and Robin (Regal Hood? Is there a name for it?) but until some admits more of her wrongs and really steps up to the plate, I can't fully get behind it.
I find it interesting that Neal talks such a big game about second chances, but he didn't seem willing to give his father one. And frankly, it's always pissed me off a little how he glossed over how he abandoned Emma (during their reunion at least) but acted like the father who almost single handedly raised him for 14 years was a leper.
I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT MULAN, OK? And I can't really articulate them, they're just there. I really want Sleeping Warrior to be a thing, with or without Philip.
For now, those are my thoughts.
