Frederic's eyes wandered around the ball- he was looking for Katherine Thorne. Dominic told him he should meet her. For whatever reason, he wasn't going to enjoy it, but seeing as his outfit had....made his brother *very* upset. He figured he could appease him in some way.

Which is why he's looking for her- in an almost desperate attempt to fix things.. He's heard she's rather feisty and that they're similar,' whatever that might mean. He was holding a glass of wine when he figured out who Katherine was from a servant. He breathed in because he really didn’t want to, but he stepped towards her.

"Lady Katherine?" He asked and gave a fake smile, but in hopes it would be believable enough. at least for the evening. He isn't charming like his older brothers. He didn't have their wit and charm. "I'm Frederic O'Connor. I'm sure you spoke to my brother? " He asked.

Gwen was definitely not happy with her situation, so what better way to relieve stress by punching something? The Gamma district was perfect for that. This was a high crime sector after all. No powers, no way home, no New York hot dogs. Gotta stay strong Gwen. 

She had just finished decking a guy for trying to steal a lady’s purse. He was slouched over in the alley way. Standing about him was the white hooded girl shaking out her wrist. “Ow. Now this is def gonna take some getting used to.” She looked around, hoping no one just was what she had done. Too late. There in the mouth of the alleyway as a brunette. “Uh...hey? Please don’t go screaming, let’s not cause attention, okay?”

        There were a lot of humans around, or at least what appeared to be humans. She had little experience with other types of humans, just the normal run of the mill ones she got to watch and troll. So she wasn't aware of their superheroes or mutated ones. All she knew was this girl had a much different fashion than the other people walking around and it intrigued her.

        “This kitty sees a cute human with a strange fashion sense. Though, she is not really that concerned with fashion and does not know which human fashions are considered good or not. 'What are you wearing and could it pawsibly be comfortable? Does it have a purrpose?' she asks, wondrously.”
