hOW WAS MEETING BECKY CLOONAN?!!

OMG OMG OMG OK

SO I was like super nervous. I drove to Austin from Seguin (Where I live) with my mom, dad, and weird white friend, and my anxiety was spiking up like crazy??? Just driving on the highway??? IDK it triggers my anxiety so bad for some stupid reason. So when I finally got to the shop, I was visibly shaking.

Real small, kinda downtown. I was surprised it was so tiny. I saw her signing at like the corner of my eye and made a huge circle around the center of the shop so I didnt seem so desperate cause Im a fucking nerd

There were like maybe 2 people in front of me and no one behind me and it just didnt seem busy at all and i was so surprised.

ANYWAY

Shes super tiny and adorable, drawing in her sketchbook, and I brought my kj vol 1 for her to sign since i forgot my gotham academy at a friends. I complimented her art, and she signed my comic. And I made SOME small talk like

"Oh yeah I like to RP..."

"OH ME TOO. Like dungeons and dragons online. I have friends somewhere else and its so hard to play online all at once together. super tough."

"Oh yeah me too."

I was totally talking about KJs, but I was too nervous to really say anything else beyond that point. LIKE??? HI. IVE BEEN RPinG PARTY POISON FOR LIKE A YEAR NOW AND I DRAW LOTS OF ART AND SHIT AND A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW ME FOR SOME REASON

but i was like : "nah she probs doesnt care" tho she was super sweet and i totally bought one of her kickass prints (that she signed!!!!) 

WE ALSO TALKED ABOUT HOW SHE WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING A PLACE IN AUSTIN SINCE SHE LIKED IT HERE SO MUCH. I recommended north austin area (like pfluegarville and she said she had a relative there and liked it idk???)  but I bragged about texas for like a full half minute lmao
