To that anon, the show doesn't cover everything.*Spoilers* there were male claymores. There was some relation w/release of their powers & sexual urges. Males were said to have problems w/ power control more than females. Which was why most awakened & almost all were killed. Also there was a fear of reproduction. Most of the male claymore were around the 1st generation. Btw I don't see why someone should try to take it that serious. -.-Males didn't work out so well, so they used females.
