I have a question about how you outline... How do you outline?? I'm such a stream of conciousness mess v-v
I’m very much a stream of conscious writer, too. ❤️ But I start knowing three things: 1. my characters’ flaws, 2. how those flaws will change, 3. the climax.Additionally, as I’m writing, I’ll sometimes have an idea for further in the plot. So, I’ll just jot down the gist in brackets somewhere ahead in the document. Then, if get stuck on a scene, I can work on something below the brackets. This technique helps with flow, but also with writer’s block. I strongly believe in writing stories out of order. If something is boring to write (but needs to be written) throw it in the brackets and come back to it later.
