Update on Herman! Well, he had to go back to the vet for a follow up and had to have another X-ray, some fluids and two more enemas!! Another $400 on top of the $700. 😢 My poor baby. So they said there was a lot of hair in his poop and he was eating his litter!! Thank goodness I use wood pellets that don’t clump or this would have been even worse. And to boot they told me he has arthritis in his hips!!! 😳😞😭 He’s still a baby…how can he have arthritis?! So he has to take some pain meds, probiotics, and a laxative right now and he might have to take the pain med and laxative long term. They’re not sure. He’s been his bitey happy self since he got back but I have yet to see him poop normally. The vet did say the laxative would take several days to take effect so until I see him go normal poo my stress levels are pretty high.
