Me: Kiwi! Go ninight.
Kiwi: *puts head on pillow and glares at me*

So Jerome wasn’t paying attention and started to let the dogs out before I was ready. It’s been over six months since I used my camera, and I’ve forgotten what settings to use. I thought I pushed up the shutter speed only to come in and find all blurry pictures. These were the only two that I sorta liked. Sorry, Peach.
Please excuse the fluffles in the dog run, the last people left it as a stuffed animal graveyard and the yard people were supposed to come, but haven’t and Jerome hasn’t had time to do yardwork yet.
Also excuse Kiwi’s bare spots there. She’s healing fine from her itchy skin problem, but the fur is going to take a while to come back.
Anyway. Probably going to practice a lot in the yard for now. Expect more.
Kiwi vs. the Poison Cheese
Up til now, all of the dogs have been excellent pill takers. We always just wrapped the pills in a slice of cheese and they never even suspected. Now with Kiwi taking these antibiotics for her skin issue? No. No way. Not gonna eat that. That is poison cheese. She won't even look at cheese at all now! Not even if we're eating it! Not even if we're giving it to the other dogs. ...so now we're going to try peanut butter.
Survived the vet! Kiwi weighs 56 pounds and has 2 weeks of medicine.
Kiwi's vet appointment this morning. I am way overly anxious. Which is not good for this situation at all. We need mellow vibes for the vet. So now I'm anxious about being anxious. Current status: trying to figure out how to fake it til we get home.
State of the Doughnuts
Peach- No longer in doughnut. Limping. Seems uninterested in messing with bandage. We feel we can treat her scrapes at home, but will be keeping a close eye.
Kiwi- Still in doughnut. Still itchy. Still scabby. Still losing hair. Vet tomorrow.
BLESS ME O TUMBLR FOR I HAVE SINNED! I left a Sharpie UNCAPPED on my desk! Luckily it didn’t dry out. Phew!
Came home from laundromat and bloated up for some reason. Ew. Luckily my comfy shorts are now clean!
Found a house that looks promising. Very close to base. Okay with pets. Positive feedback from owner so far, but haven’t seen it or anything. Cross your fingers everyone.
Kiwi’s time outside of the doughnut of shame last night was a lot more destructive than we first thought. She chewed a whole new spot off! I have one more thing to try, but it’s likely she’ll have to go to the vet.
Remembered to take Fitbit off when I left! Still going to hit my steps prolly next time I get up!
