I Beat Mr. Mosquito!!!!!

It was for sure a trial. For a while I didn’t think I would be able to do it. By far, stage 11 is the hardest stage in the game. But through perseverance I got through it. Now, I’m working on the script for my video while incorporating some live reactions I had to the game. Expect a few gifs next week. Hope everyone had a good holiday!

Mr. Mosquito Video Progress Update

I really want to take the time to make my video good, so most likely it will be out in late December, not early December like I said previously. Also, I still haven’t beaten stage 11 lol. I have some time off of work this week so I plan on taking that free time to really hone in and try to beat the patriarch of the Yamada family. Expect more gifs soon.

Video Progress Update - Mr. Mosquito

I’ve been set back a few weeks from finishing my video due to some things that have come up in my life. I’m still working on beating the game and am officially stumped at stage 11, the second to last stage of the game. But I will not give up! My goal is to beat the stage tomorrow and work on completing the rest of the game next weekend. I plan for the video to be publicly available sometime in early December.

Mr Mosquito Progress Update

I’ve gotten to stage 7 which is where I got stumped last time I played Mr. Mosquito. It’s actually a pretty tough level! But I’m determined to beat this game! Expect gifs throughout next week :)

I got my RetroTINK-2X Pro (RT2X-Pro) in!!! I think the interlacing looks much better with this upscaler. I have on a smoothing filter via the RT2X-Pro and OBS as well as a de-interlacing filter through OBS. Super excited! I hope to start legit recording of gameplay footage tomorrow! Also excited that it WORKS with my Elgato capture card!

YouTube Video Schedule

ALRIGHT so now that my gender video is out of the way, below is my tentative schedule for posting videos

LATE OCTOBER/EARLY NOVEMBER: Seaman video

LATE NOVEMBER/EARLY DECEMBER: Mr. Mosquito video

video on Yaku Yuujou Dangi is pending until I get a Japanese PS2 and buy a hard copy of the game or fix my PS3 (which I’m probably too lazy to do so the first option is probably what’s going to happen)

Seaman Video is DONE

I’ve finished editing my Seaman video. It’s not perfect, ends abruptly, and probably has other flaws. But it is done. I’ve commissioned an artist to draw an illustration of myself I can use for video thumbnails. And I want my Seaman video to have the updated artwork in the video’s thumbnail. So, I’m currently waiting for my commission. Once it’s finished, I just slap that baby on the thumbnail and BAM it will be public for the world to see. Kind of nervous but whatever.

Video Progress Update

As of today, I’m simultaneously working on two different videos. One is a review of Yaku: Yuujou Dangi. The other uses the Dreamcast game, Seaman, as a vehicle to crack a few jokes. I’ve begun editing the Seaman video today and have made a lot of progress on it. I’m still waiting for cables to be delivered so I can record gameplay of Yaku: Yuujou Dangi. Once the cables come in, I’ll be halting work on my Seaman video to work on the game review.
