The first out from KJA23 is just a doll. They very politely climbed right into my hand to be transferred to their hatchling tub.
On paper, the kids from KJA23 are Lavenders and Peach Lavenders but a few of them look... odd. I'm a little dubious that only those two genes are being expressed.
I'm used to my Lavenders out of Kitty Junior being more in the pastel range, but it's not unusual for Lavender babies to be as ruddy as #6 and #7 there. These are my first Lavenders from Aurelian so it's interesting to see how different they are from Chammers' and Ringwood's babies with KJ. There's certainly a lot of variation in this clutch!
I'm curious to see what they look like in a few more sheds.
