’ y - you’re yelling . calm d - down . ’ this is said rather bluntly / an obvious observation , but one that he chooses to verbalize nonetheless . if he is to be truthful , he fully realizes & sympathizes with the frustration ava conveys . however he can’t encourage it . with a temper like her’s , odin feels that it’s most rational to keep her from lighting up like a firefly again . ’ it —— it’s gonna be f - fine . p - pedri’s on my a - ass about it too , but if th - their egg or whatever survived for th - this long ?? it can wait ’ til we find it . ’
Ava’s frustration was already bubbling over. She was hot and angry, already starting to glow; she clenched her fists, trying to calm down (as he so helpfully suggested).
“...But what if we don’t find it, Odin.”
It was less of a question and more of a prediction. She didn’t get why they had to find this stupid egg anyways- her pact depended on defeating Titan. Not babysitting for Wrathia. At least her anger had subsided. Now, she felt more of a depressing hopelessness, and her happy second life seemed more out of reach than ever.
