KKFOS GEM AU: The Rebels

The Rebels are A trio of gems who rebelled against Plum Diamond's authority on Earth and were banished from homeworld. They live on Earth in a cave in California they named Crescent Cove, which they renovated into a normal house.

Cobalt:Gem on Chest. The group's leader was the first to rebel against Diamond, but the Homeworld Gems accused her of conspiracy, sparking a small war in which she, along with Sunstone and Howlite, were banished from Homeworld. Cobalt is the group's leader, but she doesn't possess any particularly unique or distinctive authority. She's an ordinary, ordinary Gem, behaving very normally and reasonably at all times (her role on Homeworld was as a messenger). Her new and primary objective as a rebel is to overthrow Homeworld's authority and rescue defective and weak Gems. Her weapon is a crystal knife.

Sunstone:Gem on Right Knee. In her life on Homeworld, she was a servant gem, serving higher-ranking gems like Andensine, Bloodstone, and Howlite. But when she heard Cobalt's words against the regime, she was poofed and encased in a bubble by Pink Moonstone. When she arrived on Earth, she regenerated with a new appearance in a new home. She is the most innocent and the most easily frightened. Her weapon is a showerhead.

Howlite:Gem on Left hand. She was a military-ranking gem, serving an Authoritative Scout gem named Jet. Everything was normal until Jet was shattered by a Scout named Rainbow Peacock Topaz. Howlite reacted by puffing Topaz with her gun. In the rebellion, she was the first to join Cobalt; Sunstone (in bubble form) was the last. Howlite is the most protective and the most combative member of the team, and one of her goals is to defeat Plum Diamond. Her weapon is a shotgun.
