Things have been quiet here as I've been moving from my apartment into a house with my girlfriend A and three other adults. It has been a challenge reducing my stuff as I come by my hoarding tendencies naturally but I've done a great job and I'm all settled now.
For a while I've been feeling the itch to get back into cross stitching and other needle arts. I'm going to satisfy my stitching itch and have come up with a plan to keep motivated and actually finish some projects. I will have one large project that I will work on and break it up with smaller projects from time to time.
For my first major, multiple year, project I've decided to stitch Gustav Klimt's Allegory of Sculpture. The design is 280 stitches wide and 400 stitches high for a total of 112,000 stitches. The finished size will be about 15.5" x 22.25".
The first smaller projects will be learning how to make biscornu, Quaker balls and stitched ornaments, in that order.
