cassy lore drop when⁉️⁉️

omg thank you sm for showing interest in her!! she has so much lore, shes one of the protagonists for one of my shared oc universes, interficio! my golden child...(and the sacrificial lamb of their universe)

For an overall view of her, Cassidy Kitsch (cassy)

shes part of the nsp (national security project),

this is it as described by my partner, (who co authors interficio) :

the National Security Project was founded in the late 1940s as a consequence to mccarthyism and the idea of rampant treason in the U.S. After the NSP was cut in the mid 1950s, it was picked back up again in the late 1950s by the CIA. They were sponsored as a separate, classified organization, made up of a team with a maximum of 10. Their new goal: Inact consequences and launch investigations against world citizens who utilized legal loopholes to perform illegal/immoral activities. It started out as an active, motivated group, but then activity died down. By the time the 80s came around, the NSP was rarely productive; their funding only being provided solely because the CIA forgot they were sponsoring them.

(Interficio also takes place in the 80's, where our characters are adults by that time.)

The nsp has a pattern of picking up kids with poor backgrounds, rescuing and enrolling them. Cassy also had fallen into that, being found by Avery after she had lost her guardians, and brother in a house fire.

This was after she was sent to America, following the death of her parents, being originally a poland born polish-chinese girl.

(She was raised speaking polish, gaining her an accent.)

In the time period between her being sent to America and being enrolled into the nsp, she had lived on a farm in the care of her aunt and uncle. (the guardians mentioned above) She also lived with her brother, Jay. (technically her cousin, but they were brother and sister more than anything)

Her newfound family, farm, and animals were all lost in the fire. She was left with only herself, allowing for the nsp to take her in.

It isn't pictured in my last drawing of her, but the fire left her with a scar taking up the right half of her face.

Cassy is forever a farm girl, her land and animals being engraved in her heart, hence the association with the lamb.

Interficio is also primarily set in the winter. Cassy is very aesthetically associated with the winter, cold, blue and snow, as well.

And more about Cassy herself, she has a pure soul. She's one of the kindest people you could meet, never have any intention of harm.

Despite this, harm is what always comes her way. She carries so much grief due to all shes experienced and lost, but even so she remains soft.

(There are a lot of events that occur in interficio, and she has many complex relationships with other characters, so this is just to keep it brief. But if you have any curiosity as to any details or any lore, I am more than willing to elaborate!! :DD)

Even in her death her nature had never changed. But it is in that death that she was changed, reborn to bear claws.

That is when she was turned into Krill. An entirely different person, although having once been Cassy.

(and this happens in our other oc universe, Imperium. Which takes place millions of years after interficio,, again, there is quite a bit of immortality and lore to explain)

This was through her locket. A necklace music box, her keepsake from her mother, actually being the stopwatch in control of the interficio timelines. Interficio as a story is one that is reset over and over, occurring and reoccurring differently, worsening in each time loop.

Goldie is the one who killed Cassy, taking her locket and being responsible for turning her into Krill. He is also the one primarily in control of the timelines, being the catalyst for interficio and its time loops happening.

here is a piece i made to depict this. Cassy being the center of it all, holding her locket and the remembrance of all in interficio that was lost. Each item represents someone that had been dear to her, regardless of the timeline. The fox and the cat represent Reece and Goldie, the other two revolving interficio.

Some other facts about her,

She has audhd, her special interest being hermit crabs :}

She has a permanent limp, (her left leg was injured in an accident) and she is a cane user. She doesn't need her cane all of the time, but she uses it when necessary.

She is deaf in her right ear as well, being hard of hearing in her other. For this she uses a hearing aid.

It was only recently that Cassy was made to be a girl. Originally in every draft until now, she was boy, having been named Klaide. Klaide is still also her name, being used as a code one :3

(the majority of my old art of her is as masc klaide, but he was always androgynous so cassy looks almost entirely the same)

and that's all I have to say for now :D

I apologize for this being a handful ;; interficio has been in development for a long time, so even trying to nutshell lore about one character is hard without having to delve into the rest. But I hope this could give you something interesting about her!! I love her so much, and I greatly appreciate being asked about her ^.^
