Be My Forever by Christina Perri & Ed Sheeran

Kurt was making a salad for dinner, when Blaine came into the kitchen. Their house was quiet, except for soft music coming from the radio, but they were used to it. Jake and Olivia, their twins, were living separately, Jake in Chicago studying law, and Olivia in Rome where she studied fashion. Of course they missed the kids, their laughs and fights, but after 20 years, they finally had the whole house to themselves again.

Blaine stood behind Kurt and put his arms around his husband. He swayed them a bit, a new song playing from the radio.

“Dance with me?” Blaine murmured into his ear. Smiling, Kurt cleaned his hands and followed Blaine on the middle of the kitchen. They danced slowly, a bit too slow to the slightly upbeat of “Be My Forever” by Christina Perri and Ed Sheeran. Kurt remember it from when he himself was still at college.

“What’s the occasion?” He asked, playing with the collar of Blaine’s shirt. It’s not like they needed any reason to dance, he was just curious of Blaine’s mood - he was so stressed lately, it was good to see him relaxed.

“It’s Tuesday” was all the answer he got.

“And?”

“And I love you.”

Laughing, Kurt took Blaine’s hand and swirled him around. Then he hugged him closer, kissing him gently.

“I love you, too.”

Klaine Valentines Challenge 2017 - Day 10

Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble

Blaine loved Vegas.

Not the city, he’s never been there, but this small club hidden on a dark alley in Bushwick. The place wasn’t exclusively a gay club, but it was open for everyone and really friendly. There were even some slot machines to keep up with the name, but Blaine never saw anyone playing them.

He loved coming here, especially after hard day at work. He loved dancing to the loud music, feeling men and women around him, trying to get him closer, to dance just with him. Sometimes he let them, and sometimes he preferred to dance alone.

Today, he let himself get lost in the touch of strangers’ hands. It made him feel careless for the first time in months. As the man behind him put an arm around his waist, Blaine felt someone looking at him intensely from the other side of the dance floor.

Blaine grinned. The man was absolutely stunning. Tall, with great body and piercing blue eyes that were locked with Blaine’s hazel one. He saw the guy coming closer, and it made Blaine even more excited.

“This is my last dance” he turned his head to the guy dancing with him.

“It’s awfully nice of you that you saved it for me, then.” The blue eyed man stood next to Blaine, and without any hesitation he pushed the other guy away. “He’s going back home with me tonight, sweetie” and before the guy could react in any way, the man started kissing Blaine passionately.

“Kurt…” Blaine moaned between kisses. He had his hands in tight fist on Kurt’s shirt, and he was just seconds away from shamelessly humping on Kurt’s leg.

“What do you need, love?” The hot air of his boyfriend’s whisper right in his ear made him shiver.

“You” he let out a whine, wishing he wasn’t so desperately turned on. “Always you.”

“Let’s go home then.”

In the privacy of their own bedroom, they danced until the dawn.

Klaine Valentines Challenge 2017 - Day 11

At My Most Beautiful by REM

Every time Blaine had to change his meds, his depression hit him with doubled force. It wasn’t as often now, when he was in the remission stage, but still.

Being only 16 and fighting cancer twice was enough to make him this way, but it wasn’t Blaine’s biggest problem.

He just wished with his whole heart he wasn’t so alone.

Like every day after school (except for the last week - he didn’t feel like leaving his bed) he sat in the corner of Lima Bean and nursed his coffee. He could drink only one, but he spending his time at that coffee shop was something he could consider his hobby. And like every day, he listened to the noise of other customers, never looking up from his cup.

“Roses are red, the sky is blue I bought some cookies This one’s for you!”

Unfamiliar voice startled him, almost causing him to spill his still untouched coffee. He looked up and saw the most beautiful pair of blue eyes he’s ever seen. The boy in front of him pushed a bit the plate with cookies, and with a smile, turned around and left the shop. Curious, Blaine took a closer look at the cookies - they were a bit deformed, each one different, definitely homemade. He too one bite and almost moaned out loud - they were delicious.

Next day, when Blaine came to the shop, a plate of cookies was already waiting for him on his table. Underneath was a note with a phone number and a name.

“Kurt” Blaine read out loud.

“And you are?”

Once again, Blaine didn’t notice the boy coming to his table. Surprised, he looked at him, at his easy smile and curious eyes.

“Blaine.” He found himself whispering. The boy - Kurt - nodded and sat on the chair in front of Blaine.

And just like that, their odd friendship began. Every day, Kurt joined Blaine, drinking his own coffee, doing homework or just talking to Blaine about everything and nothing. Some days, Blaine would talk to - in a quite, tired voice he shared a bits of his own life. It went like that for weeks.

One day, when Blaine felt particularly bad, he invited Kurt over to his house. They lay together on bed, Blaine at some point fell asleep. Kurt took the time to look closer at the boy, wishing he could finally see him smile.

“What are you doing?” Blaine asked,his voice hoarse from the nap.

“Counting your eyelashes.”

“Why?”

“Because” Kurt planted a soft kiss on Blaine’s forehead “I love you.”

When Kurt looked at Blaine, he was met with the biggest, the most beautiful smile Kurt’s ever seen.

“I love you, too.”

Klaine Valentines Challenge 2017 - Day 13

Yellow by Coldplay

Sort of a sequel to the story from Day 7

“Are you scared?” Blaine asked, looking up at the dark sky full of the stars. Kurt and he were laying on their field on a warm summer night. They hands were clasped together between their bodies.

“Of what?” Kurt turned his head so he could look at him.

“Tomorrow. It’s a big day, after all.”

“I know. But, I know for sure it’s gonna be the best day of my life. I will spend it with you” smiling, Kurt leant closer and kissed Blaine. “What about you, huh?”

Blaine laughed softly and in one smooth move he rolled Kurt on top of himself.

“It’s gonna be the best day of my life as well” he whispered, starting to unbuttoning Kurt’s shirt.

“Blaine! It’s against tradition!”

“Screw tradition.”

After, they lay there, trying to calm their galoping hearts. Kurt looked at Blaine and could see the stars reflecting in his lover’s eyes. He started singing quietly.

“ Look at the stars, Look how they shine for you, And everything you do, Yeah, they were all Yellow.”

Listening to the soft voice of Kurt, Blaine smiled.  He still couldn’t believe that tomorrow would be the very first day of their brand new life, that they gonna share it as husbands. Sneaking out on the night before their wedding was definitely a good idea. He let the song drifts him to sleep.

“Your skin Oh yeah, your skin and bones, Turn into something beautiful, Do you know, you know I love you so? You know I love you so.”

Klaine Valentines Challenge 2017 - Day 3

One and Only by Adele

Kurt almost missed the first note. It wasn’t unusual for him to find anonymous notes in his locker, but they mostly have been full of insults. This one, however, was totally different.

Taking a closer look, Kurt realised they were a song lyrics, written carefully with the use of what seemed like… a fountain pen? Something totally unexpected in his high school.

“You’ve been on my mind I grow fonder every day Lose myself in time Just thinking of your face God only knows Why it’s taken me so long To let my doubts go You’re the only one that I want”

Looking around, Kurt tried to localised the mysterious person who sent him this note. But there were only some jocks on the hallway, so he quickly gathered his things and went home.

Next day, after particularly bad day full of locker checks and really bad jokes, Kurt found another note, and a single red rose. The note read:

“I don’t know why I’m scared, I’ve been here before Every feeling, every word, I’ve imagined it all You never know if you never try, To forgive your last and simply be mine”

This note was signed with a simple, elegant BDA. Again, Kurt looked around but he was alone on the hallway.

It was two days - and one more note - later, when he caught his secret admirer. Walking down the hallway before the first period, he saw a person trying to open his locker.

“Hey!” The person turned around, and Kurt was left dumbfounded.

Blaine Anderson. One of the most popular student in McKinley, star of soccer team, president of student body and rumoured boyfriend of Quinn Fabray. A boy Kurt crushed on since freshman year.

Blaine’s eyes widened at the realisation of being caught. He dropped what he had in hands and run away. Kurt collected the mess - three red roses tied with a beautiful blue ribbon, a box of chocolates and another note:

“ I dare you to let me be your, your one and only, Promise I’m worthy to hold in your arms So come on and give ma a chance To prove that I’m the one who can Walk that mile until the end starts

Kurt, I can’t keep it to myself any longer. You move me. Will you be my Valentine? Blaine”

Feeling like he was walking on clouds, Kurt entered the classroom. He spotted Blaine on his usual place, his cheeks slightly pink. Without thinking, he came closer to him.

“Oh, Kurt, hi…” Blaine started when he saw him next to his table. “About those notes, I can explain every-”

His explanation was silenced by Kurt’s lips on his. They kissed, oblivious to the cheers and whistling around them.

“Yes” Kurt whispered, face millimeters apart from Blaine’s. “I will be your Valentine.”

Klaine Valentines Challenge 2017 - Day 12

How Deep Is Your Love by BeeGees

Blaine hated goodbyes. He hated seeing his friends crying, promising each other they all stay in touch.

The most, he hated saying goodbye to Kurt. It wasn’t the real goodbye, they still had the whole summer together. But going to separate colleges in different states could not be easy. He really hoped they could survive this long distance.

Now, standing in front of his friends, with his guitar in hand, it was Blaine’s time to sing his farewell. He took a deep breath and looking directly at Kurt, he started singing.

“I know your eyes in the morning sun I feel you touch me in the pouring rain And the moment you wander far from me I wanna feel you in my arms again”

Kurt put on a brave face, even though he felt like crying already. He smiled at his boyfriend, trying to make it look convincing.

“How deep is your love How deep is your love I really mean to learn ‘Cause we live in a world of fools Breaking us down When they all should let us be We belong to you and me”

Pouring his whole heart into this song, Blaine really believed in the lyrics. They were stronger than the world, they would be okay and had nothing to be afraid.

“I believe in you You know the door to my very soul You’re the light in my deepest darkest hour You’re my saviour when I fall And you may not think I care for you When you know down inside That I really do And it’s me you need to show How deep is your love”

As he sang, Blaine looked around the choir room. The girls were mostly sobbing quietly, and even the guys looked deep in thoughts. After all, it was the last time for the majority of them to be here, surrounded by their friends. He wondered how many of them would break with their  boyfriends or girlfriends during this first year of college. Finishing the song, Blaine looked again at Kurt - his beautiful, amazing Kurt and promised himself that he’d do everything to stay with him.

When he ended, Kurt came to him in an instant, taking him in his arms and hugging tightly.

“We’re stronger that this. We can do this.” Kurt whispered into his ear.

“I love you way too much to let you go.” Blaine said, kissing him eagerly, not caring about the audience.

Ten years later, as they danced slowly for the first time as husbands, Puck and Finn had the nerves to sing that very same song for them.

Klaine Valentines Challenge 2017 - Day 14

I Will by The Beatles

The restaurant wasn’t as crowded as Blaine thought it would be on Valentine’s Day. But the night was still young. The lights inside were dimmed, and much more candles than usual casted the tables in a perfect aura for a romantic night. Blaine looked at the notes of the next song he’s supposed to play and smiled - it was one of his favourite.

Just as he was about to start playing, a young man walked in and sat at the table next to Blaine’s piano. He fussed a bit with the menu, and then he looked up straight at Blaine.

Everything stopped.

Blaine didn’t know this beautiful man, but he knew his eyes. Those piercing blue eyes haunted his dreams since he was a teenager, he would recognise them everywhere, even in a badly lighted room.

The man himself looked surprised, clearly he had to realise who Blaine was as well. His eyes wandered on Blaine’s face, finally stopping on his eyes. A small smile appeared on his lips and a blush blossomed on his cheeks. He gave him a little nod, so Blaine started playing.

“Who knows how long I’ve loved you  You know I love you still  Will I wait a lonely lifetime  If you want me to–I will. 

For if I ever saw you  I didn’t catch your name  But it never really mattered  I will always feel the same.”

“Kurt” the man whispered with a wink. Blaine smiled against the microphone. Even his name was perfect.

“Love you forever and forever  Love you with all my heart  Love you whenever we’re together  Love you when we’re apart. 

And when at last I find you  Your song will fill the air  Sing it loud so I can hear you  Make it easy to be near you  For the things you do endear you to me  You know I will  I will”

The last notes were still ringing in the air,  but Blaine already abandoned the piano and in a heartbeat was next to Kurt’s table. Both men stood there, a bit awkwardly, mesmerised by each other’s eyes, until Kurt moved and winded his arms around Blaine’s shoulders. They crashed their lips in a kiss that was everything and more.

“I finally found you…” Kurt whispered,the air hot on Blaine’s face.

“… My missing puzzle piece” Blaine breathed before diving not another kiss.
