Are writers and artists allowed to sign up as an automatic pair? I think I saw smth about it on the q&a but couldn't find it again
Yes, you’re absolutely able to do that! Just make sure that you both write in your partner’s username on the question on the sign-up sheet where it asks if there’s anyone you would like to work with specifically as a predetermined pair

How strict is the word limit for fics? What would have to happen if a fic went over the limit? And can fics made for the event update to add another chapter or bonus scene after they have been posted for the minibang?
Hello! As mentioned in previous posts, while we recommend a 10k word limit for fics, we won't stop you from writing more! We've also had multiple authors in past years post the first chapter of a fic for posting day and continue updating the fic in the following weeks. Mostly, our word limit is set with the time limit of the event in mind and what's going to be achievable/realistic for most participants. We're happy if you feel you can write more, but it's never an expectation!
