Was it smart? No, most certainly not.
Would that stop you? No, probably not.
Was it exhilarating? Yes, you had to admit it.
Klaus. Niklaus Mikaelson, as you had come to learn his true name. Something about the infamous Klaus had intrigued you from the moment you first met him. Of course, literally everyone hated him. He did try to kill Elena, after all. You couldn’t defend him for most of his actions, and it wasn’t your job to either. However, you also had no loyalty to Elena or her Scooby-Doo gang to stop you from getting to know the ancient hybrid. Sure, you could consider Caroline or Damon friends, but not the rest of them. You don’t like Elena much, and therefore not Stefan much either. You hung around them from time to time, but mostly because you are a vampire as well and you guys had that in common.
You hadn’t been there when Klaus had been trying to break his curse, you actually hadn’t met him until a while later in passing...
He was leaving standing outside of Elena’s house, looking less than pleased. You didn’t know who he was though, so you gave him a sideways look and crossed your arms, waiting for him to introduce himself. You could tell that he was not human, not only because he was standing outside of the house as if he couldn’t get in, but also the way he carried himself.
“Can I help you?” You call out when he fails to inform you of who he is, instead just staring at you. He lifts his head a little higher and smirks a little, beginning to approach you, slowly
“I don’t know, can you?” He asks, cocking a brow. He is ridiculously good looking, and one hundred percent the type of guy you’d go for. You shift your weight onto one side and raise your eyebrow, keeping a straight face as he smirks at you.
“You know Elena?” You question, ignoring his suggestive question, curious of who the hell they weren’t allowing inside. He emits an aura of danger, he certainly didn’t seem like good news... But that only made you all the more interested in finding out more about him.
“You could say that...” He responds, once again not answering you straightly. His smirk grows when you roll your eyes, looking over his shoulder toward the house to see if anyone was out. “I haven’t seen you before... Are you a part of their little...gang?” He asks, sticking one hand in his front pocket and the other hanging loosely at his side.
The man, who still has not told you his name, stands about three feet in front of you, his eyes not leaving you for a second. The way he spoke sounded mocking of them, but it didn’t bother you, given as you don’t care too much for them either. They were pretty immature, that’s why you compared them to the Scooby-Doo gang. You had to say though, whoever he is... He has an amazing accent.
“Ha.. No, not really. Who even are you?” You ask, growing impatient with his failure to tell you.
