The dead Kennedys are definitely my favorite punk band and this is their magnum opus. After finding each other through newspaper ads in the local city, the dead Kennedys came together to craft one of the most perfect snapshots of punk rock in the history of music. The bands writing switches between extremely political and angry to satirical and hilarious on this project and they do it with such ease and finesse. The thing that has always stuck out to me most about the dead Kennedys was there instrumentals. So many of their instrumentals don't even seem punk rock because of how well arranged and how dynamic they are. The group pulled from a multitude of genres that were rarely, if ever mixed with punk at the time end it makes this record stand out in punks history as a special moment. This album is just flawless in every sense of the word to me. If never mind the bollocks never came out, this would be my favorite punk album of all time. ------------------ .
