This was where she was in her element-the lavish parties of the nobles, the very place where she would whisper around, taint those who thought they were proper and good, flaunt with her appearance and simply have a good time. The old men she ignored, the young ones firm and dapper she adored and wouldn't hesitate in flirting with them and have a generally good time but the woman with their fitting dresses, graceful strides and beautiful hair-yes those were her main target, they would always be her main target. Since she'd divorced with her husband months ago it felt as if she was a free bird once more, she knew that he suspected her adulterous ways, with women no less but let faith have it that the pathetic bastard was struck with illness-disabling him to taint her name in public matters.
With a glass wine in her hand, she simply laughed along with the fools, winked at the ladies ( playfully) as she moved about the polished floors. There was never a reason as to why the higher class would throw such parties or so they made others believe. Irena knew the reason, it was for one thing only, to indulge in the sins they so hypocritically announced to despise. While she moved about, dress fluttering behind her, she spotted a beauty she'd never seen before- skin fair with hair as light as grace itself, body petite but defined- a knowing smile curved lips and without even giving herself a second chance she felt how feet already carried her towards the girl.
"--Are you not in a festive mood, my dear?" Thick accent rolling from parted lips, hand placing the glass on the tray a servant held up for her before he left. Thin brows arched up, disappearing behind dark ringlets, while eyes looked questionably at the girl.
