There was a few occasion where I pass by a group of Photographer sporting Analog camera around Georgetown Beach street area. They usually carry around a beautiful set of camera which could either be an Old Kodak camera to the latest and recent Hassleblad.  I knew about them before through Facebook photography group but I finally manage to catch them and strike a chat. They are passionate in promoting analog camera to the public in Penang and wouldn't mind sharing their tips on using one to anyone that is keen.

You can catch them on weekend at Beach Street. Do say Hi to them for me.

After few years of missed opportunity, I finally manage to attend Penang Thaipusam festival (eventhough its just for a few hour) where people gather from nearby states just to celebrate Thaipusam. 

Recently I got myself a Konica Minolta Riva 115 and it’s one of the most responsive compact camera that I used so far. Hopefully in the future, I would be able to post a review on it.

Despite being inactive on this blog for a while, its safe to say that I am well and still shooting as usual. Recently I got my girlfriend her first film camera. A nice solid combo of Nikomat FT with a Nippon Kogaku 50mm f/1.4 lens. Its a bit big but its should last longer than most digital camera.

Either way, I am looking for a co-admin to run and update this blog in terms of photos/story on film photography community and photography event in general. Shio Soon Yii camera has been featured on this blog (a Nikon AF600) before and this picture was taken when he brought me to the recent Chap Goh Mei celebration at Georgetown Penang.

Little did I know that he got himself a Mamiya 7ii and has been shooting exclusively in color negatives for the time being. (this photo was taken using his Sunpak Flashgun that I try for the night)

I have always been intrigue by the design of the Minolta TC-1 but today was the first time I saw the real camera. The camera belong to a friend of mine and he is an active street photographer around Kuala Lumpur area. Look at some of his latest work from his recent workshop with IPA.

I have been at KL recently for one of IPA Street photography workshop at the Petronas Gallery and I was lucky to be able to meet a lot of different photographer.

Here are one of the first picture of the interesting camera that I found during my 4 days at KL. From the left Ricoh GR1s (mine), Ricoh GRD3 (Saifudin from SG) and the new RIcoh GR (Kevin WY Lee).

My own personal unit of the Olympus XA2, a legendary camera design indeed. :D
