I'm very curious, I read most of your posts on fifty, why did you want her to sign the contract so badly?
It was because from my understanding of the BDSM community, that contract is very important, and I felt that nothing should have happened between Christian and Bella before that contract was signed. The only thing she had done was negotiate with him about certain things in the contract. He was already tying her up and taking her to his play room before she even signed it. Yes, she kinda gave him consent with her voice, but even Christian had said the contract was suggested to him by his lawyers.
Literally, Bella could have sued Christian for what he did to her because she had never written her name on that contract. It felt like that contract was what helped open the doors to the BDSM that Christian liked, and that’s why I wanted her to sign it. That’s also something that made this movie very problematic.
Please note that I do not support this movie, and even if she had signed the contract, I still would not have supported their relationship because it was manipulative and abusive.
