here are some romantic kevron headcanons mixed with general kls headcanons generally from the BNU (aka the branch nation universe or @branchnation ‘s ao3 verse) even though technically i’ve never seen it been called that i feel like it can be trademarked atp

(also i need something to fill my soul bc i wanted to see them on tour but literally none of my friends wanna go so im highk sad abt it)

DISCLAIMER also js as an add in, in this kls verse Eileen is like Kevin’s girl bsf. Like they tried dating but were better off as friends. bc i lowk hate when ppl js subvert to cheating or making a woman the bad guy js to accomadate their gay ship. like shes there, she’s sweetie pie and her life’s great but shes js not gonna be mentioned much if at all.

Kevin and Aaron were each others long standing sneaky links/ one night stand/ friends with benefits???

it originally started as a one night stand but then it became a long term engagement of casual sex. They didn’t properly meet until Denny introduced them like 6 months later for Kevin’s channel. THATS when they became more of sneaky links? idk they js didn’t tell anyone bc it felt unnecessary and kinds awk

this is also part of the reason why it took so long for aaron to become a regular bc he didn’t want to make things weird with them messing around and then working together.

they end up working everything out after kevin calls aaron to let off some steam bc he’s stressed with the channel and they talk it all through. the next week aaron returns and joins as a regular.

they continue to mess around even after that, if anything it makes it easier THEN it is complicates things because they start to catch feelings.

this is also why they seem to be the closest physically in the vids/ warm up to each other so fast

aaron takes the brunt of the “gay” jokes even though kevin does stuff that’s js as bad bc he knows that if it gets flipped it makes kevin insecure

(i personally headcanon that kevin doesn’t necessarily have internalized homophobia but he’s super insecure abt a lot of his mannerisms bc of the stigmatization of certain perceived actions as having relation to queerness, esp with men. so it subsequently makes him feel shame or “dirty” for things people generally didn’t usually bat an eye at)

(also js as another disclaimer im not too well versed on perception of queerness and homophobia in europe. like i know generalizations but nothing too nitty gritty. so for ex. i’m taking how americans perceive kisses on the cheek as a form of intimacy vs how it’s a way of greeting in france. (i also know it’s not usually an actual kiss for everyone but a cheek to cheek moment but that’s not the point of this) also how generally kevin will not get/ be late to the perceived innuendo of a lot of things he says esp in the earlier episodes)

everyone knew aaron was bisexual before they started dating/ told everyone but no one knew abt kevin.

though denny knew aaron was bisexual for years and was aware he was messing around with someone long term (but not serious) he never knew it was kevin. the only person who did was zane and that bc he caught them after hours.

they’re not keeping a secret for any other reason than that it’s no one’s business.

what happened in orlando was actually js them actually officially getting together and starting to date.

they actually don’t act any different off screen bc they kept their sex lives v separate from their work lives originally and they caught feelings after becoming friends once they started working together.

kevin sometimes has a hard time saying it, so he shows his appreciation through actions. aaron is the one who can verbally show appreciation better.

generally the only clothes they take from one another are lounge or sleep clothes. so no one generally see it esp bc it would be so noticeable on camera.

kevin tries to go to almost every one of aaron’s shows that he can

they both actually really hate pda. like it’s not bc of anyone being around its js bc they feel like it feels like putting on a performance for anyone watching them.

they will lean or lay on top of ea other before, during or after shoots.

denny gave kevin the shovel talk… then denny’s mom gave kevin the shovel talk.

aaron’s hips and tits are v well loved in this household. esp if they’ve been made fun of during the episode.

aaron does directions no matter where they go bc kevin is severely directionally challenged

chat is it too early for another dose of Kevron headcanons for the BNU???

(it doesn’t matter i’m gonna do it anyways bc now i can’t stop thinking about them and it’s kls eve so im allows to be annoying abt kls shit)

aaron mainly compliments kevin with attributes that aren’t physical bc he doesn’t want any partner he has to feel like their worth is indicative to their perceived attractiveness

though when he does compliment kevin on his attractiveness he ALWAYS makes sure to tell him how pretty he is/ his smile is (am i projecting bc i think kevin is so pretty and has the cutes smile that doesn’t get enough recognition? yes, yes i am. do i care? no. no i don’t.)

and what if i said kev’s inverse to this is body worship 😛 (esp bc i already said kev is better with actions matched to aaron being better with words)

aaron loves when kevin speaks french, like so much that it’s a turn on atp. ESP bc kevin does that thing where if he gets really pissed off he’ll switch to french and start cussing/ going off. mainly bc it’s like his default setting and partially bc if he wants to be mad in peace generally no one can understand him

he does start to slowly teach aaron french though. he sucks at it. kevin thinks it’s cute anyways.

aaron is the assertive one. like if they’re at a restaurant and someone is getting kevin’s order wrong aaron says something abt it. or if someone’s being particularly rude to kevin (like a guest on the show or a contestant) he shuts that shit down immediately

kevin, though he is the shyer of the two, is the flirt. like he flusters tf out of aaron OFTEN

they match ea others freak. like freak freak and nerd freak shit. it’s glorious.

though aaron is treated like the youngest brother by the group (bc he is the youngest) kevin is actually the one who acts like the youngest. aaron acts like the affronted middle child most of the time. kevin hears some version of “you can js tell you’re the youngest” every shoot

okay so we all know how kev mentioned working out more (i believe in the tour doc so this was a min ago) well one time on set aaron was like physically in his way. he wasn’t being obnoxious and it wasn’t on purpose and he didn’t even know he was in the way. but he was like on his phone standing by the table they usually sit at and instead of asking aaron to move kevin just picks him up like he weighs nothing and moves him himself.

he wasn’t even trying to like make it a thing or start something. he was js on autopilot and aaron was in the way and he moved him. simple. no, not simple. aaron’s brain rewires in that exact moment. he was NEVER the same. and let’s js say it was HEAVILY discussed after work (bc aaron is too much of a professional to distract kevin 1. at work and 2. while he’s in that mode) and aaron gets picked up regularly now

kev didn’t get the appeal until aaron fireman carried him one time bc he was pissing him off (still talking to the guys in the parking lot even though aaron had already said he was ready to go)

kevin’s brain literally short-cutted. like he stopped talking mid sentence, his pupils got huge and he highk slumped over aaron’s shoulder.

he also didn’t know aaron was that strong so… yeah he def gets it and he’s lifted his fair share of times too.

aaron doesn’t get why kevin’s so surprised. he still has that muscle and dexterity from wrestling and he’s LITERALLY been in the gym working out with kevin

the jokes that get cut the most from the vids are ones abt how kev can’t fire aaron bc they’re fucking/dating (esp if kev makes a “ur fired” joke)

the only reason they’re cut is bc they genuinely don’t want ppl in their business and it would change the trajectory of their careers and they js aren’t ready for that

but it is by no means a secret. js very private and it also helps to keep that sense of intimacy and realness they enjoy.

aaron has an apartment but more often than not he ends up at kevin’s house.

they work together but in complete silence.

kevin cooks bc the last time aaron tried the fire department had to actually put out a fire in kevin’s kitchen.

kevin was so scared about making everyone uncomfy with their relationship that he called a company wide hr meeting. he is hr… well him and zane are like the head of hr. aaron was exasperated. zane spent 20 mins trying to explain to kevin that 1. this could have been an email 2. they’re all completely fine with it 3. they all trust the two of them to keep their relationship and work separate and handle whatever they have going on like adults and 4. he’s grown… he didn’t have to tattle on himself

herm fell asleep halfway though. katherine and kiki were playing roblox while zane exasperatedly lectured kevin. denny made jokes abt this for like 3 weeks after

kevin and aaron aren’t allowed to sit next to ea other during kls2 shoots. not bc they’re super couply or touchy. simply bc they really are friends first. so the closer they sit the more they argue over the game. and it goes from verbal to them play fighting. and they’ve fucked up 1 too many mics (read their play fighting sparked a play brawl and they all had broken the table and four mics by the end of it)

the only reason uno was half as successful as it was, was bc zane said that if they broke anything else the full price was coming out of everyone’s pay separately. (no one plays with their money so they disengaged as much as possible)

denny is AGGRESSIVELY protective over aaron. like that’s his baby brother. that being said if it’s a play argument, he takes kevin’s side EVERY TIME even if he agrees with aaron

but if it’s a real problem they 1. try to never involve their friends but 2. if they do they both go to herm separately bc denny will try to put out a hit on kevin. even if aaron’s in the wrong. and zane can’t stay neutral even with the party that’s in the wrong. but he doesn’t pre pick side in the sense that if he thinks you’re in the wrong he sides with the other person almost immediately

they have full convos without speaking a word all the time

they joke that it’s bc together they’re the couple that can’t “talk for shit” bc of aaron’s stutter and kevin fucking up words on a regular basis

they’re that couple that can always read each other/ feel ea others presence even if the other person doesn’t announce themselves. it’s freaks the absolute fuck out of zane. they love it.

okay so i lowk influenced myself to write a little ficlet or wtv… i also was planning to write one anyways bc we were lowk in a kls fic drought (blessed is @branchnation who has some banger lined up for us) and i was THIRSTY. so this does have kevron but it’s not super romantic or heavy on them ig?? it’s basically about why kevin and aaron can’t sit next to one another during KLS2 videos (from my headcaons) with a side of kevron.

anyways, so this is set in the BNU but like after Aaron and Kevin are 1. already together and 2. have told everyone. enjoyyyyyyy and pls lmk what y’all think/ if anyone has anymore ideas

SNAP!

The resounding sound of the plastic table breaking under the weight of four grown men, stops all surrounding movement. On the camera screen you can see a tangle of limbs- all freezing their ministrations at the sound. Four heads turn with faces varying from exasperation to a strange mix of apprehension, dulled amusement and complete astonishment.

Kevin mumbles, “well at least we didn’t fuck up the mics.”

Everything is still. Well that is until Aaron’s grip slips on his spilled C4 and he plops into Kevin’s chest, causing Kevin to fall back with a small thud at the unexpected weight. A resulting cracking sound and the subtle cutting off of the staticky feedback, informs everyone that the mic packs- or at least Kevin’s for that matter- are in fact NOT okay.

“Fuuuuuuuucking hell.”

A loud irritated groan can be heard from Kevin as he covers his face with one of his hands, the other comes down to cradle the back of Aaron’s head in effort to self soothe. Aaron does a resulting soft kiss on his covered chest. Kevin releases a breath of air he didn't know he was holding.

Fuck, that sounded expensive. But in his future defense for his bank account, he’s TOTALLY still blaming all of this on Aaron.

An hour and a half earlier.

Zane is walking behind the camera when he turns to look at Kevin in front of the screen.

“Hey Kevin, which game do you want to start with?”

Kevin glances up from the table he’s currently setting up for the KLS2 video.

“Umm… I honestly can’t remember which games I brought today.”

“You brought cards Against Humanity and some word guessing game?! It has some inflatable thing with it. I don’t know but it was in the car, so i brought it in.” Aaron yells from the couch, while still intently looking at his phone.

“Thanks! Uhh I would say we can start with the guessing game Zane. It should take the least amount of time.”

“Alright nice.”

In leu of responding, Kevin just nods his head and focuses back on trying to get this damn table open. He swears it wasn’t this difficult to lock last week. Maybe someone broke it and didn’t tell him. Maybe he broke it. Doesn’t matter, this damn thing needs to lock so they can get a move on with shooting. Kevin moves to pull the inside leg, again, in hopes that it’ll actually lock this time. The middle of the table straightens but it doesn’t click. Maybe if he ju-

“Looks stable enough to me.”

“Hmm?” Kevin turns at the unexpected comment, met with his boyfriend standing a few feet away from him staring at the table.

“I said that it looks good enough to me. kev, you’ve literally been fighting with the table for like 10 minutes. I’m sure it’s fine.”

“It won’t click though.”

“it’s not like anyones gonna really be putting weight on the table. It'll be fine for today and we can figure out why it’s being so difficult later.”

Kevin glances back at the table then at his boyfriend again, squinting his eyes.

“C’mon dawg, we got shit to shoot or whatever.”

Kevin glances at the table one more time before following Aaron to change for the videos. “Isn't the saying shoot the shit?”

“Ehh, doesn’t really matter.”

“And stop calling me dawg, bro.”

“Stop calling me bro, dawg.”

Kevin moves to playfully shove Aaron when he moves to the side giggling.

“Oh that’s how we’re playing?” Kevin proceeds to chase Aaron into the back of the stage set.

Fifteen minutes later.

“Kevin, can you look up for me? I need to focus the camera.”

As Kevin looks up, Denny sits to the left of him at the table.

“Aye man, you’ ve GOT to stop feeding into his problem!”

“Which one? He’s got a slew of ‘em. Pretty sure he’s got a medical record longer than my grocery list-

Aaron yells for Kevin to “Shut up” as Herm simultaneously interrupts without looking up from his phone; he sit’s on the far right of Kevin- closer to the camera. “What’s on the list? The world’s biggest supply of tissues?”

“Nah, I think it’s at home remedies for forehead reduction,” Denny adds in.

“Or maybe post op supplies for nose reduction surgery?” Zane slyly comments as he slides into the chair next to Denny.

"Pretty sure his forehead covers over half of his issues,” Kevin mumbles.

The table errupts into a fit of laughter.

Aaron walks in behind him with a C4 energy drink in his right hand and smacking Kevin upside the head with the other.

“Ow?” Kevin lightly rubs the back of his head for dramatic effect as he follows Aaron move to sit next to him with his eyes.

“I heard you, jackass.”

Kevin just returns the gesture with a wide smile.

Denny makes a disgusted face before commenting, “you’re not as cute as you think, Uglies boyfriend.”

“Really? Your baby brother sure as hell seems to think so. Especially when-“

Aaron gives Kevin an amused side-eye before interrupting, “ What addiction are you accusing me of this time Denzel?”

“That.” He points to the energy drink in his hand. “And maybe that.” Denny points then, to Kevin.

Herm starts to chuckle as he says, “Man you’re out of control.”

“It’s the truth man! He’s getting away with nefarious things because they’re bumping tips.”

Everyone pauses for a second before Herm and Zane burst into full laughter.

“Bumping tips?!” Aaron exclaims.

“Aye yo!!” Kevin yells between giggles.

“I’m serious!! Kevin never used to buy that many energy drinks before they announced they were hunching-“

“He likes to drink them! And plus they had a sale,” Kevin weakly defends.

“-Especially because they make Aaron act like a little chaos demon, and Kevin KNOWS it.”

Aaron shrugs, “Dick sucking privileges.”

They all turn and look at Aaron for a moment, in a mix of horror and bubbling amusement as he takes a long sip of his drink, before the table erupts in laughter.

Denny points and yells “see!” though a fit of laughter as Kevin looks dead at the camera and tells Ayo to cut that… but legitimately.

Fifty minutes later.

The guys are nearing the end of Cards Against Humanity. They had to play this first as Kevin forgot his pump for the inflatable at home. (Or maybe it’s at Aaron’s because they technically slept over there last night since it’s closer to the studio.) Regardless he didn’t have it and they wasted 10 minutes looking for it before they could officially start the game. So, they decided to divert that to after this video.

Aaron just gave an answer that not only earned him a void but has everyone looking at him like he has grown a second head in front of them.

Herm sighs deeply, “Aaron, c’mon man.”

Denny still looks at him in bewilderment as he says, “you’ve got to be mentally deficient.”

“And you look like a crack baby.”

Everyone pauses.

“Aaron Branch!”

“I told y’all it’s those damn energy drinks!!”

Aaron starts to evilly giggle as he goes to take another drink. Herm lightly chuckles as he shakes his head and Kevin puts his head in his hands as his shoulders shake in suppressed laughter.

Twenty minutes later.

The game is deviling into chaos and Kevin can’t tell if this will be youtube gold or if they’re gonna have to film an extra video next week to make up for it. Though it will definitely go down as one of the funnest shoot days by far he has a feeling it’s about to all go to shit. He also has a feeling that the amount of footage that’s usable is considerably less than he thought.

Aaron has made at least 4 jokes that will surely get them demonetized by Youtube if aired, Zane and Herm collectively have made about 6 comments that are deemed cancelable on the spot and Kevin is about 90% sure that Denny might just jump over the table to strangle Aaron. All in all Kevin’s having a great time.

Also it’s probably good to mention that Kevin and Aaron are one wrong (right) move away from a bout of playful wrestling. Which is normally what happens when they sit next to one another during games. (Which is also why they usually are separated during KLS2 shoot days.) Denny would say (jokingly) this is another thing Aaron is getting away with- even though technically Denny picked seats first today.

Aaron is literally shaking with excess energy that needs to be expelled. They could stop shooting to burn some of it off- shit Kevin would stop the shoot if Aaron really wanted him to but Aaron would never ask. Kevin probably should though because when Aaron gets like this he’ll push until someone becomes reactive, just so he can burn off the energy. And today it seems like that person must be Kevin. Aaron keeps hitting and nudging him in a manner that he knows means that if Aaron works himself up anymore, he’s liable to start a play fight. And Kevin’s liable to engage.

Kevin is dragged out of his thoughts by feeling the firm but lightweight end of the inflatable smacking the top of his head.

“Ow?”

Aaron flashes him a mischievous slightly chaotic smile. “Your turn.”

Kevin fondly huffs and rolls his eyes as he picks up a card. “If you continue-“

Aaron smacks him again for the two syllable word even though Kevin hasn’t started his turn yet.

Kevin stops for a second and squints his eyes at Aaron before he continues, “to hit me like that. I will hit you back at least twice as hard.”

Aaron proceeds to hit him four times for every word he said that had more than one syllable.

Kevin stands up, “Aaron-"

Aaron follows his lead and whacks him in the chest.

“You little-“

Aaron tucks his shoulder into Kevin’s chest and tackles him t the grounds.

Denny huffs, “Here we fucking go man.”

Zane gets up as he speaks, “I’m gonna pee while they get their energy out. They should be done by the time I get back.” He says the last past pointedly at the two men still playfully grappling for dominance on the ground. Both are too enthralled in wrestling to pay much of what anyone’s saying any mind.

After a moment or two Denny moves to separate the two so they can continue when Zane gets back. All hell breaks loose. Denny gets kicked on accident causing him to join in to get his ones in. Herm only gets involved because Kevin kicks his chair by accident and he falls into the mess.

By the time Zane gets back, they’re all wrestling but they have somehow switched off and standing up. He moves to intervene when Herm and Aaron get dangerously close to the camera. But before he can all he sees is Aaron going flying across the room and air tackling Kevin into the table; subsequently breaking it and accidentally bringing Herm and Denny down with them all in it’s wake.

One week later at the HR meeting.

“In total you guys broke over $800 worth of equipment- specifically mics. And not to mention how much we lost because of the footage we can no longer use and the time we lost cleaning everything up.”

No one says anything. Kevin just knocks his glasses as he moves to rub his temples. Aaron massages his knee as a sign of comfort.

“Sooooooo, to prevent any more damages or company money lost, I have set some ground rules.”

Everyone, including Kevin, looks up in surprise.

Zane swivels to face Kevin and Aaron, “You two can no longer sit next to one another during KLS2 shoots. No exceptions. Kevin’s the most susceptible to reacting to Aaron’s antics so you need a buffer.”

Aaron shrugs, “Fair enough.”

Zane turns to Denny, “No sicking Aaron on Kevin when you’re loosing a physical fight to him.”

Denny rolls his eyes.

Zane turns to Herm, “ Just please don’t engage-“

“i quite literally fell into the bullshit.”

“You’re too tall and you’re limbs are the most likely to hit the equipment and break it accidentally.”

Herm nods, “okay fair.”

Zane then turns back to Kevin, “And you, stop buying the energy drinks for the love of god.”

“Hey!”

Zane ignores Aaron’s protests and bullies on through, “any more big money costing play squabbles like this and the total cost is coming. out of everyones paychecks… INDIVIDUALLY. Not a percentage but the total! That way we can add everyone’s contribution to the collateral fund to ensure we have enough company money to pay for it. We all got it?”

Everyone nods their heads.

“Great, meeting over. Shoot starts in 30.”

Yeah… this is soooooooooo Aaron’s fault. And maybe a little bit of Kevin’s because he didn’t help the case at all.

okay so kls tumblr, i need some help. i have like three fic ideas that i wanna write and i don’t feel particularly compelled to write one more than the other so i need yall to pick for me highk

First prompt is Denny being touch starved/ touch adverse and like a small journey of learning how to be more comfortable with touch from the guys. i was thinking a 4 + 1 type of best lowk?? and ending it somehow with a group cuddle. (this is inspired by how i’ve noticed denny being a bit more touchy than before esp in the kls2 vids)

send prompt is a kls2 prank video with a side of kevron. kevin’s so cutie pie and i was rewatching some of his old videos and i came across the one where he’s only speaking french all day. and i thought it would funny if its like he ran it back but as a prank video on the guys and him pretending he’s not doing it. this would be mainly fluff esp with how all the guys handle it.

the last prompt comes from my headcanons abt aaron and kevin being able to pick one another up. it would essentially be those two instances being played out. nothing smutty (as i’ve never written smut and i don’t believe i wanna try now) but maybe a bit suggestive esp at the end

here’s another kls ficlet situation for the 6 or so (literal) ppl who liked the last one (also i’m tagging @branchnation bc i know you wanted to be informed of my next KLS post)

anyways lmk what you guys think of this one (i would literally love to hear ur thoughts and feed back) and lmk if i should write one that’s kinda like a sequel/prequel to the first that would be kinda inspired on the KLS2 impostor vid where Kevin mentions he had a small meltdown from being overworked

The thing is, Kevin has always been a very… tactile person. To put it lightly. His mom had used to call him her cuddle bug when he was small. His dad always said he was soft. Never really in a mean way but it wasn’t quite encouraging either. His first girlfriend said he was clingy. His old friends would say he’s too needy. Kevin just thinks he’s… amenable. Soft in a way that he can be rebuilt, remolded- absorbing information quickly… well? Doesn’t matter. But he could would harden when needed. He’s like quicksand.

But being so touchy- (Touchy? No he doesn’t really like touchy. He likes tactile. He is tactile.) -comes with disadvantages. It kinda makes you yearn to feel the touch of someone else. It makes any little way you can get touch more… passionate? Is passionate the word? He’s not really sure but it fits.

Regardless it makes him feel like he ruins every interaction he has with people. Every hand shake lasts a second too long. Every time he laughs he leans into the person next to him to fully. Grasps them too hard. Holds on too tight. Hugs them too long, or too tight. Like he’s begging to be touched back. To be loved back. With the same intensity. Or at least that’s what he’s been told.

And since she’s gotten engaged it’s been better. He has someone who doesn’t care if he grasps too tight, hugs too long, or seep into them too fully. And he loves it. Loves her. But being “tactile” with your wife and your friends are two very different things.

Kevin’s grown and he’s gotten older so it’s easier now. He cares less of what people say about him now. (Well for the most part.) But it’s hard when you’ve never had a good group of friends. At least not good like Herm, Denny and Aaron are. And he doesn’t know how to do it or what to do. How to be him and not be too much for them at the same time. Because he knows his comfort can become overwhelming sometimes. He knows that his touch can be too much for people. It’s normal and he really is fine with it, but god he can’t help who he is. Nonetheless how he is for that matter. He just loves so hard and he doesn’t know how to show it any way but physically.

The boys don’t mind though, and he is learning. Well learning what’s right for each of them. What works.

Herm’s not big on physical touch. Well not unless he initiates it and even then it’s minimal. He doesn’t really like being touched and Kevin’s fine with that. It’s a handshake here or a pat on the back there and they’re all good. On good days or for special occasions you can get a hug out of him. And Kevin’s just fine to be on the other side of it. It reminds him of an older cousin or big brother. But Herm’s love language is words. He always leaves with a “Love you man, i’m out!” or around the corner with a “Good work Kev, keep up the good work.” He lets you know that he cares, out loud. And that’s just as good as a hug to Kevin really.

Denny isn’t as touch adverse as Herm but he’s still not super touchy or fond of touch. He’ll take a pat on the back here, a laughing lean there or an occasional hug. But that’s about it. It’s fine though because Denny’s love language is acting. He always seems to know when Kevin’s spiraling and is there with a text to just “check in”. He’ll take some of Kevin or Zane’s work load in ruse of just wanting more “agency” in the channel. He answers Kevin’s calls when he needs him too and always makes sure to clear his schedule enough to hang out with his friends at least once or twice a month. And he never ever shames Kevin for being a bit too touchy or leaning in to hard. Denny doesn’t say it a lot but Kevin knows he loves them because he shows it.

Aaron on the other hand is just as touchy as Kevin is. He might even be worse. But maybe it’s just the fact that he’s more open about it, than Kevin is. He’s openly touchy in a way that screams he was never turned down from a good gig if he asked. Never made to feel ashamed for wanting to hold on a little longer. Like Kevin was. He’s so openly loving that it makes you want to hug him more. So that’s what Kevin does. He leans his head on Aaron’s shoulder when he thinks something is funny. He grabs him when he’s being indignant. Sometimes he’ll even use Aaron’s head/ shoulders as an arm rest just to mess with him. He hugs Aaron often because he can and he always hugs back. Shit sometimes he even leans his forehead on the back of Aaron’s head (or his back if they’re sitting down) to relax and ground himself between shoots. Much likes he’s doing now. Or has been for the past 15 mins while everyone’s on a lunch break. Regardless Aaron cares like he does. And he can’t really ask for more than that.

All the guys are great, truly. It’s the best group he’s ever hand. He-

“Kev,” Aaron says softly.

“hmm?”

“You good dawg?”

“Yeah. Yeah i’m good. Do you need to get up or something? Sorry man, you should have said something. I would have never-“

“Nah, nah you’re good man. You’re breathing slowed so i thought you were sleep. Just wanted you to know Zane said we’re back on in 15.”

“Oh. Yeah okay cool.”

Kevin takes a deep breath like he’s gonna continue but stays silent instead. Aaron gives him a minute to say something before he interrupts his inevitable overthinking.

“What were you gonna say man?”

“Oh? Um… nothing?”

“Kevin.”

“I don’t know it’s just i realized i do this often and i never asked if you’re cool with it. And J don’t want to overstep your boundaries man. I don’t know I just-“

“Kevin. You’re fine. Really man. I don’t mind it at all. It’s comforting for me even.”

“Really? You’re not uncomfortable?”

“Yeah no, man. Truly it’s not problem.”

“Okay good…. can we sit here for a few minutes? I just need a sec to just,” Kevin trails off, “you know?”

“Yeah man. you’re all good. I’ll let you know when we have to get up.”

“Okay cool. Thanks man.”

“It’s no problem.”

God he has the best friends in the world.

Heyyy, so this was inspired by how i kinda noticed that Kevin it’s the most “touchy” person in the group. It’s always casual and fleeting but still very (loving? intentional?) idk man. But it was great inspo and i always think it’s so cute in the vids. It just shows how close they all are esp bc they never react to it or really push Kevin away which implies that they’re used to it.
