🌸 “There you go Kitten~. A crown for my lovely feline princess~. O-Or Queen, if that’s the title you prefer Madame~.” The Red-Headed Neko chuckled, pecking her forehead before admiring his lover.

Kitt turns towards the Neko just as he surprises her with the crown that was almost absurdly woven with many flowers of different colors and sizes onto it. She quirked her brow at first as he carefully placed his creation onto her head before giving him a highly amused, but sweet, smile.

“Hehe! .. Last time I checked, I was neither … An’ what’s the occasion, bud? .. Did I forget something?” she inquired him with a slightly confused head tilt.

Regal had started undressing and getting ready for bed... Pulling out his favorite shirt, stretched out and oversized, he purred as the comfortable fabric trailed down his skin, unaware of the presence in the doorway. 👀+ ((Curious what her reaction would be.))

Kitt was in Regal’s bathroom getting herself ready for bed. Once she was done, she made her way out and stops at the doorway at the sight of the Neko wearing his very large, night shirt. Quirking her brow and tilting her head a bit towards him in mild amusement at the adorable sight, she gently clears her throat to get his attention.

“Is there … any room for me in there, bud?” she inquires playfully with a soft chuckle.

"I'm a terrible dancer..."

Kitt had wrapped her arms around the Neko’s neck, resting on top of him as he fell onto his back. She perked a bit at the sudden impact before pulling her head back up to look at him. Despite all the people clapping around them, the sound was almost totally muffled out as she had her attention fully on her now fiance.

But before she could think of anything to say, Kitt was promptly pulled into a loving kiss, shutting her eyes as she wholeheartedly returned it.

"I'm a terrible dancer..." Regal explained to Kitt, rubbing the back of his head. Having been invited to some sort of masquerade ball with her, he thought it'd be worth a dance. "But... Would you care to join me mi'lady? The dancefloor awaits." The best part about the masquerade party is that with the mask he chose, his ears seemed to be almost part of the costume, dressed in a classic black tuxedo and a rose corsage on his breast pocket.

With a thin brow raised behind her black cats eye mask, Kitt looked up at the nicely dressed Neko curiously.

“Oh really! .. I seem to recall you saying somethin’ totally different a while back” the felinoid quipped with a soft side smirk. 

She was dressed in a masquerade-style black and gold costume gown, wanting to wear something that didn’t clash or make her striped velvety fur stand out too much. She wore elbow length black gloves. The dress was strapless, save for the mid arm cuffs with wide sleeves, a gothic-style choker, and a black mask that covered the top half of her face with feathers sticking from the top corner of it.

At hearing Regal’s asking for a dance, Kitt smiled and gave a small nod to him.

“.. And, I’d love to” she replied with a soft chuckle.

With a flower crown of Apple Blossoms, Pink Carnations, Forget-Me-Nots, Daffodils, Holly, Ivy, Pansies, Pink, Yellow and Red roses, Yellow Tulips and Violets, the Neko smiles to his feline lover. "Can you kneel so I may place a crown upon my Queen's head?" Regal chuckles, purring gently.

Kitt blinks in slight shock as she sees the Neko bring over the highly-decorated floral trinket. Looking from the crown over to Regal, she listens to his request to kneel down before her expression formed from one of surprise to one of curious amusement.

“Hehe! .. I see no queen ‘round here, bud … Just little ol’ me” she jested as she came over to greet the Neko with a soft kiss to his cheek.

~Escape

As she was gently pulled back to his side, Kitt kept her eyes on the two men that stood nearby, seemingly blocking their only escape route. Her ears twitched a bit as she observed them, listening to Regal mumble out suggestions on what their next move would be.

At his question, she hummed curiously and gave a side glance towards the Neko. She noticed how tense and anxious he was getting by the minute by the way his expression was held ... Not to mention the way he absentmindedly handled his newly acquired weapon. A nervous tick it looked to be. Though, it might seem to be more out of a hesitation other than just wanting to all out let loose.

Kitt gently took hold of his arm and gave it an assuring squeeze to hopefully keep him calm.

“Let’s just see if they move on their own” she suggested, turning her attention back to the men. 

“If they got walkies or anything to communicate with, the last thing we want is for them to call for backup an’ make more of a mess for us” she added softly.

((For the injury/torture meme)) “I know it hurts, but you’re not alone. I’m here for you.” Regal weakly smiled to his girlfriend, one of their heists going horribly wrong as they had been caught. "Just look at me, whatever these fucks do, I'll make them pay ten-" A sharp, electrical current is heard as he receives a taser to both sides of his bare torso, having been strung upside down by chains. His muscles tense as he is simultaneously beaten, the blows causing him to vomit.

Kitt mumbled painfully as she slowly came to, only to find herself currently chained to a wall. Her wrists and ankles in iron shackles, and they were hurting. She blinked and winced a bit as she looked around the dimly lit room that resembled more a torture chamber than anything .. And there in the middle of the room was Regal, hanging upside down, also in chains.

She shook her head as she tried to remember what exactly had happened. They were in the middle of a heist until the room they had gone into was unknowingly booby trapped with gas. After that, she can’t recall. She heard the Neko’s voice and looked over to him. Her eyes widened and almost frantic as she tried to tug against her chains, but to no avail.

“Regal!!” she tried to speak to him, worry steadily creeping into her voice.

“I..I’m so sorry! This’s all my fault! … I shouldn’t have asked you ta ...” she trailed off as she finally noticed the couple of men in masks behind the Neko and soon began to taze and beat him. At seeing that, the felinoid couldn’t help the tears that began to fall from her eyes as she called to him and tried to fight against her restraints again.

However, Kitt was stopped as she was promptly slapped by another masked man that was in the room. It was so hard that it echoed through the chamber.
