Drew my two Marvel alien OCs, Scio and Klumba! I don’t totally know what Scio is wearing, like some kind of deconstructed 80s exercise thing, I just kinda went with whatever came out as I sketched. I also haven’t been giving him a navel, so despite his species looking so humanoid, I guess they don’t give birth like humans do, or maybe just don’t have umbilical cords in the same spot we do.

More of Klumba, my lil Shi'ar OC. The Shi'ar are aliens in the Marvel universe who feature prominently in many X-Men stories. Klumba (actual name: K'lum Ba) is roughly equivalent to a 11-13 year old child and in a sort of a youth training organization like the Boy/Girl Scouts except if they were from a species of aggressive Imperialists who colonize countless planets. As part of this, she's tasked with surviving on the “primitive” planet Earth as a test, and winds up with the Acolytes and has adventures I'll probably never actually make up or write down. But they totally happen! All Shi'ar have triangular 'hair' like that (it's actually feathers) and eye markings (those aren't just really long lashes) and these little vestigial feathers on their elbows, as they're descended from avians rather than simians, despite otherwise looking very human. So if you're wondering about any of that, that's why. I don't think they have eyebrows but I drew them in anyway, I dunno.

It occured to me that both Klumba and Malcolm are fish out of water (well, bird out of space in Klumba’s case), but for opposite reasons---Klumba because she comes from an alien race with technology FAR advanced beyond our own, and Malcolm because he comes from a post-apocalyptic Earth where they don’t even have flushing toilets.
