The bit in S7 where Klaus picks up the phone to Caroline and makes it clear throughout the conversation that he randomly had a miracle baby - but at no point is Caroline like WAIT, WHAT? HOW? Suggests to me that the MF gang have been gossiping about this turn of events for the past two years or so.

Probably making it a running joke whenever they want to put Caroline in her place - yeah, yeah, just cause you missed out on being Klaus’ baby mama, etc etc.

Except it ends that one time she’s had enough of the constant teasing and snaps back at Tyler - yeah well it only happened ‘cause Hayley’s a werewolf so maybe YOU’RE the one who’s missed out. IS THAT WHY YOU LEFT ME TO GO HUNT HIM DOWN, HUH?
