At the sound of their suite door opening, Marley’s head popped out from underneath a behemoth of a blanket fort. Clothes pins held together nearly every blanket in 211 and the fort itself took up eighty percent of this living room. “Kennedy! Hi! Uh, could I...get a hand with this? Please?” This fort was going to be perfect if Marley could just get this one corner secured. The only problem was she was way too short to get it where she needed it. “I just need this corner clipped to the curtain rod! If you’d be so kind.” A wide grin was plastered on the brunette’s face as she held out the blanket to her roommate.

No one: .... kass morgan: clexa is the best. Wish I came up with them. If I could I would undo blarke in the books too. #1 lexa stan. Did I mention I love lesbians? Belamy who? Everytime someone tags me in a blarke tweet i will spin it into being about clexa.

They love to talk about Kass’s books as if they are the holy grail because Blarke is canon but if Kass could go back and rewrite them now she would 100% write Clexa as canon. WE LOVE WINNING.

kennedy! (send a ship)

Who always gets the window seat on planes: marley, but she offers to switch halfway through the flight. Who is in charge of the radio during road trips: kennedy. aux privileges were revoked from marley long ago.  Who over packs: marley overpacks clothes, kennedy overpacks books. Who initiates car games: marley, which last a couple miles before they get tragically distracted and forget they’re playing. Who, without fail, accidentally leaves something important at home: marley. occasionally she gets lucky and kenn packed two because he knew she’d forget something.  Who takes all the free things (shampoo, soap, shower caps) from the hotel: neither of them, really? Who gets searched at the airport for looking ‘suspicious’: kennedy and he gets so salty every time, so marley has to pretend like she doesn’t find it hilarious. Who wakes the other up at 7 AM to go eat the complimentary hotel breakfast: oh, marley but she won’t wake kenn up. she’ll just go and bring back his coffee for him. Who insists on using a map to guide them around an unknown city: kennedy. marley insists they don’t need one.  Who is in charge of keeping up with the passports and other important documents: kennedy, definitely. marley can and will if need be, but kenn is definitely reliable on that front. Who buys the most novelty gifts for friends/family back home: marley. Do they go on more adventure type vacations or somewhere they can relax: ends up being about 50/50, probably? kennedy is definitely more relaxed of the two, but marley will gently push him to try new things and go on adventures with her and he keeps her grounded when she gets a little too wild.  Who takes pictures of every single thing: neither, but kennedy probably takes more and marley asks him to send them to her.  Who is the first to try the local cuisine: oh, marley definitely. she always offers to share though! Who forgets to put on sun screen and gets burned to a crisp: oof, marley forgets, but somehow kenn still gets the worse burn. Who uses packing/vacation checklists and who just wings it: kennedy definitey feels more like a checklist and marley probably packs with her eyes closed, let’s be real here. Who says “I want to go back” the moment they get back home: marley. kennedy is usually happy to be home in his own bed, but does want to go back eventually.

drunk :   my  muse  takes  care  of  your  muse  while  they  are  in  a  drunken  state.

As she struggled to put the room key into their door, Marley couldn’t help but giggle while Kennedy rambled on drunkenly. His arm slung over her shoulders, Marley was doing her best to keep them both mostly upright, but it was increasingly difficult the more animated Kennedy became. When the words ‘fuck ya conch’ left Kennedy’s mouth, Marley nearly lost it. “You tell ‘em, sugar!” Nodding matter-of-factly, Marley finally got the key in the door and kicked it open. “In ya go, bub.” She gently directed him into their suite and towards Kennedy’s favorite spot. Depositing him there, Marley quickly went to grab a glass of water and two Tylenol. “Here, take these. And take small sips. Your stomach’ll feel rough enough in the mornin’ without you chuggin’ the whole thing.” She chuckled as she settled herself in next to Kennedy. “Okay, but have you seen the movie?! I’m pretty sure it scarred me for life.”

I agree Kass was mostly out of line (I am not jewish or a victim of book burning so i cannot speak for them) but I can speak for myself. What she said could have been said better but what I realized is my biggest concern is how she put that individual on the spot rather than privately in pm. She is making that individual a strawman. She is bringing attention to a group of people by setting up one individual the to be the voice of many. She is forcing that pov onto the entire Clexa fandom. 1/2

I didn’t get the second part of this because my tumblr loves to swallow multipart asks, but I have a feeling I would have agreed as well.

Weird question but does the author of t1oo have any say about how her characters (excl Lexa & grounders) are being portrayed on the show? Like isn't this damaging to her to some extent? Figured you may know since you're in the business.

Nope. She sold the TV rights to her characters so unless she specifically gets invited to write an episode she has no say in what happens to the story or the characters.
