I think I understand. I feel similarly in that I am only attracted to people I have already gotten to know. I just say I’m grey-ace but yeah idk how people could be interested in having sex with random people? This is why we are ace though yeah? idk

yeah i guess, but again im identifying as such because how other people don't identify? not because i actually identify as it?

like everything i read about asexuality feels kinda special snowflakey? "look at me im not like the majority i deserve to be included in the queer community too" while on one hand yes i click with what other ace peeps say, but i don't understand how it isn't the norm to need to know someone to want sex and because it feels so normal it feels akin to including cis and hetero as queer

i can see how some people might want sex with someone they don't know (someone on the total opposite end of the scale from ace), but i can't see haw it's not normal for more people to be demi? and then if it's just the case that most people actually are demi but society has yet to acknowledge that, then should it really in the end be part of LGBTQA or whatever the acronym is anymore (tho i guess that would be after it got representation and recognition but then again that's another discussion about what is and isn't normal and perpetuating an us/them ideology or something)
