there are so many fics where sherlock is literally making john wait WEEKS before saying i love you, like, please, let me live,

my favourite thing is that there is an old canon fic that plays a joke on the dfp characterzation. like they are in bed together for the first time and after john's like "i love you" and sherlock is like "i will give you whatever your heart desires but never ask me to speak the words...i can't..." and john literally bursts out laughing like "lol ok that's so funny" and sherlock is laughing too like "ok i totally had you though?" and john is like "no you didn't. now say it back."

i can understand the anon wanting a bisexual person to weigh in on this issue (it's like non-black people trying to talk about white people using the n word), and it's absolutely justified, but clearly, PLENTY of bisexual people are advocating for anna's points so @ anon - don't worry, she's not overstepping any boundaries, and as a bisexual girl, i'm fully supporting her arguments as well

also like i said many times before i identified as bi for nearly 13 years so i honestly have first hand experience of biphobia, bi erasure, and all forms of horizontal aggression. coming out for the second time as gay hasn’t negated any of my past experiences, if anything it gives me a slightly different perspective.
