The kids got separated, one with a delightful Children each, but they seem… way less of a threat now; if anything they seem like… scared little kids. So beaten and bruised, they are forced to find their way back to the others with one of their greatest enemies… who now seem to be more like the scared kids they sworn to protect…
It makes them feel weird seeing a more human side to them

I miss this show so much, the delightful children were my favorites and I was dying for an episode where they got to properly meet their uncle Monty.
This show is one of those old hyper fixations that I love because occasionally I’ll be reminded of it and have a deep dive in the character’s minds and situations even though the show itself never took itself seriously (*cough cough* continuity confusion *cough cough*) I just want to see the delightful children sort through their trauma/issues and see them have a good relationship with their uncle Monty!
Side note: I’m genuinely shocked at how on tumblr people are talking about Monty spoiling his nieces and nephews with fun Uncle stuff (and because he never gets angry like Father does) but when I go to look for some of the wholesome fics they speak of; there’s nothing! And I’m just sitting there like “Aw Come On!”
Or if something sounds like it would be cool it stopped being updated way back in 2018 lol
Arturo: I can’t stay with a man who thinks anger is the only emotion that exists. When you learn how to balance your emotions better and not let your pride and arrogance get in the way, maybe then we can get back together. Goodbye, Benedict.

Edit: I had to fix Ben’s nose and I added some stubble
My brain:Ok,but about Nigel's visors. What if Lizzie actually gave it to him as a gift after he began trusting her again and it was part of a mission Numbuh Aleph forced her to complete.
I drew a scene from my fanfic, Grandfather’s rise, which is about why he turned evil. I headcanon he lost his wife after she gave birth to Ben and Grandfather didn’t take the news of Madelyn passing very well. Also I wanted an excuse to draw angst. Y’all should go read it :)
The name hurt like hell when Marty said it. The Steve and said boy we're working on a family tree. One Mrs. Speaker designed for a history lesson.
Justin choose Chad for obvious reason expect to Chad himself ironically. And Cree choose Maurice for the same reason.
He was surprised that Marty didn't stay with Julie only to find out she choose Stacy as they knew the other's family already.
Love birds. He had thought when he heard.
They had finished Steve's when Marty had to do his. He never knew him all that well and it took hours looking for pictures.
"What?" He asked feeling a type of way. His heart stopped and his lungs felt heavy he thought it was due to dust from all the boxes.
He never knew he had an other brother. But to be fair he never knew him at all aside from being Julie's boyfriend.
"Yeah, David was my fourth oldest brother about six years older than me. He went missing a few years back like I think I was three or four."
"He never got adopted with me. I found out when they sent an ember alert for him on TV." He said taking a book out dusting it off.
"Oh." He didn't feel the natural emotion of shock when you get told that. He felt devastated hurt and pain.
He had no right to be. He was a stranger someone he didn't know.
Maybe it's pity.
"They never even found his body. They still held a funeral though. Only two of his friends attend."
He was glad his huge glasses hid his eyes they had tears in them got tears that burned his eyes. So much he had to quickly excuse himself his voice breaking.
His breath labored as he wondered what the hell was going as he seemed to get worse.
He knew that name he knew it deep in his soul.
David Banks.
But where did he know it?
Steven had been arguing with Lenny about not being allowed on missions. He has just passed his test and still wasn't allowed. Both their heads turned to the ladder
"Steven Alexander Banks!" David yelled from his room as he realized his own son was bout to do him dirty by spilling his secrets.
"Don't talk back to your mother!"
"But dad tell him you-" He started not seeing Lenny's eyes.
"No! I haven't-" He shouts quick to deny it before Lenny connected the dots.
"Tell me what?!" Lenny exclaimed up the stairs his arms crossed. "David Cameron Banks are you taking my baby on missions again?!"
"Of course not!" He says poking his head out. "I would never"
"Say that to my face!" He said climbing the ladder."Steven stay here for a second while I talk with your father." He smiles climbing up to the ladder.
"Lenny honey-" He tried to talk him down.
"Don't you honey me." He snaps closing they hatch. "I swear-"
He came out ten minutes later looking perfectly fine his glasses hiding his eyes perfectly he felt defeated and horrible.
"Steve!" Marty said from his room. "I think I found that photo of David that was in the news."
"Give a sec." He says hoping his sickness gets better.

Five eleven almost didn't hear anything but knew his words meant volumes. The newly eight-year-old boy was moved to tears his younger sister looked a bit uncomfortable not knowing what to do.
He couldn't blame him. Who would ever want to hear the news that their parents were gone after their eight birthday?
He had put it off for a few days so he could have that moment of clarity and peace. He knew he should have told him the moment Cree came yelling that their trackers went off the grid.
He was just a kid who didn't deserve that. So were they. He should have known better.
"Steven am so sorry-"
"They were the best of the best! Amazing how could they go missing?!" He asks clutching his shirt. His face was red and full of tears which made him want to hold him.
What would Lenny and Ashley do? He thought knowing he had been the best at caring for Steven. Ashley was a drill sergeant she knew how to take care of kids too. He thought on all the times he's seen them comfort him.
"Steven." He bends down to his level. "This is something am still processing too. They were the best of the best. I don't know what happened."
"You're the soopreame leader! Their friend! How do you not know?!" He asks holding his shoulders. "There's got to be something."
"There isn't." He thought there would have been too. He even stormed the mansion but got nothing, not a stray object. Footprint or even a scene. It was like they were never there that they never entered.
"I swear a hundred I did all I could." He hugged him tightly the way David did. "Am so sorry."
"No No No." He cries backing away. "They wouldn't just disappear like that no one does."
"And that's what am trying to do. Am working hard to try and help them. But I don't have any answers just more questions." He looked over to Cree holding stacks of papers. All things to try and help.
"You have the right know-"
"Then why didn't you tell me before?! Why didn't you tell me when you knew?" He says pushing him away. "If I had the right to know why did you let me know?"
"They would have wanted you to enjoy your birthday." He smiles remembering all his previous ones with him smiling so wide. "Even if this is your first one without them."
"I know this looks like something that might be wrong and I know am the bad guy when I say this but I-"
He choked when he tries to speak. The tears that he held off for days came full force. Like he too was realizing it like he was saying this to himself more than he needed to stay it to Steven.
"Don't get your hopes up that we might find them."
"They were the best of the best right behind numbuh zero If they can't do this then no one can."
"Father's family has been known for this kind of stuff and there's is a good chance we won't find anything."
Steve didn't want to hear any of this. His parents would never leave him they would never be so irresponsible.
They wouldn't leave me like that.
"And this is where I might be the bad guy too. I know this is wrong especially in your case but I don't have any time."
Steve looked up confused not understanding what he meant.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cree remembers the first time she met Steve. It was after her brother's birthday party it was a sad event.
Cree had taken a look at the dark hall. She carefully held a piece of cake coffee his favorite 511 had made it so just for him as an apology.
"Take care of him for me okay?"
She didn't know why he had asked she didn't know him and they had a year apart.
She hated how the loud music of the party and how to bounced on the walls. She went looking for him after her brother allowed the party to start.
He didn't want it to be known he was also grieving he also wanted them to be okay to be happy.
He hated how solemn he looked and yet no one noticed. Maybe it had been because no one understood him as she did.
"I don't want to go in there." He had whispered wiping tears when she asked if he wanted to go. "Am too sad."
He barely ate the cake she gave him. The air becoming quiet.
"Am sorry about your parents." She had said trying to help. "I didn't know them but I know how much they mean to you."
"They did. I miss them a lot."
"My mom says talking about it helps if you want to I'll listen." He paused and took a bite of cake sniffing.
"Thanks." He smiled feeling okay for the first time that week.
"Your welcome." She smiles not knowing what to do.
"What's your name?" He says leaning over to hear better. "I haven't seen you a lot before."
"It's Cree. 511's sister." She stuck her hand out for him to shake. "It's nice to meet you a hundred."
"Nice to meet you too. I hope we can be friends." He said smiling he putting a pot on his head. "I'll need help with my job. Your brother was kind of amazing."
"Me too!" She said loudly blushing when it echoed. "He really is. It's sad we have to say goodbye today."
It had been an awkward experience but loved looking back on it they danced a bit once everyone left.
She looked into his room as he fell asleep tears streaming down his face. He came looking like a mess after a group project with Marty
Had she known David would have come into the conversation she would have stopped it and choose him to do the project with she would fix it later.
She had really been sliding on the department anyway. Her crush on Maurice was going nowhere anyway. This was the second time in three days she hated sneaking in her friend's home.
"Take care of him."
She huffed angrily closing the door realizing she had so much work to do to keep that promise.
Living in their old treehouse was a trip. It looked aged it was bigger and had more branches. It had layers of dust which made cleaning hell as they also had to get a new fridge as the smell wouldn't leave. Steve came every day to help. He once brought his friends and Rachel and Chad over once it was cleaned.
The adult later regretted it as his baby photos we're out on full display. And Constance wouldn't stop stopping telling stories that have them on the floor.
They never saw him so pink. They missed their baby. It was why they couldn't go through his stuff.
When walking in Lenny had burst out crying Bruce following quickly. They were completely inconsolable. It was within their right. To them, they had their baby one moment and he was an adult the next.
Sure it was the natural thing but their situation had not been. They were trying to help some kid only to be kidnapped and brainwashed.
They never got to see anything. They cried when they saw that 511 continued their work on Steven's memories. His birthdays, milestones, and teen memories via from said boy himself.
It looked as if they had never left. But they did. And they couldn't get any of it back.
It took them weeks and many tries for them to be in the right mind to go into 100's room. After many tears and talks, they took their first steps in over a decade.
The air was suffocating them. They felt like they were on another planet all over again their hearts felt heavy their bodies sluggish and lungs burning. They had to do it they needed to get over it.
They took to cleaning until they opened his cabinets. The waterworks they had put off for months came fast and hard.
"I can't believe am crying over something so stupid." Bruce wept. He wiped his face but to no avail, the tears came back hot and fast."Everything turned up fine in the end. Why are we like this?"
"Because everything is not fine," Ashley said her face hardened and looking hard at her lap. One of Steve's old shirts in her hands."We lost almost a decade of our lives. We missed everything!"
"We missed the rest of our Knd days!"
"We missed seeing Steven grow up!"
"We missed being normal teens!"
"We missed so much emotional and mental development!"
"We missed being able to adjust and having a normal life!"
Her hands clutched the shirt harder as it soon became stained with tears. Her blues eyes closed as she fell into David with grief.
"Why didn't we kill him?" She sobbed holding her head."He was right there and we let him go. He was at out mercy what stopped us?!"
"Because we're better than that." Constance said rubbing her face."If we killed him in a room full of kids in front of 100 what would that say? They have looked to us for years what good would it be to stoop so low? Prove that we're not better than that that we can't think relational?"
"Plus even if we killed him it's not going to do any good. He's a frail old man now who doesn't even remember what he did to us." Lenny said rubbing Bruce's back."There'd be no satisfaction in that."
"Justification may be killing us but killing is not justified."
"Plus Bruce is right we have proof that everything is fine. Steven is fine no one has tried to kill him take him."
From us again. It was silent but they all caught it. It had been a fear of theirs since the war.
"No matter how many times we check on him or worry ourselves to death he's always going to be fine," David said hugging all of them.
"We're being overprotected for no reason we raised him to be the best of the best and he was. And still is trained and raised by the Knd's finest."
"He's going to realize that we're not fine," Lenny whispered the room becoming still.
"I mean we check on him every hour of the day. We stay in his old room crying. Hell, sometimes we don't even leave the bed and shut out everyone."
"Something is wrong maybe we need to tell him that. He's always been smart we need to stop treating him like a kid eventually." Constance said holding Lenny.
"He's nineteen we are twenty-one we should be acting like adults, not the other way around," Lenny said. They felt the atmosphere change. Like a bomb had gone off.
"Is that why we're like this then?" Bruce began to sob taking the red shirt with a white a hundred print on it. His voice as if he was vibrating. "Because even though he's nineteen to everyone else to us he is still a little boy? He's still our baby who was about to turn eight?"
"Our small baby that had an accent? Who loved going on missions? Eating ice cream and being a cadet." He clutches the shirt to his heart.
"Our baby that we lost!" A scream erupted as he sobs louder Ashely and Lenny falling soon with him. David and Constance soon followed suit. She apologized over and over again saying it was her fault.
"Maybe this was a bad idea." They nodded agreeing. They couldn't do it.
