Alcoholics :p
The new character, Knighter, I really liked. I want him to carry me in his arms, but alas, he will probably choke me again :')
Okay, I'm not the only one thinking about this. (This is a text in a game.) I may or may not be on something.
Is this really a coincidence, or do MC have a connection to theater?
I have a crazy theory, What if
What if the king, he might be MC's father
This must be the reason the king left the theater; he had become a father and he knew theater was a dangerous place.
Or perhaps MCs have a connection to one of the employees here.
And don't forget, on a wall desk there was a post about six missing people and a newspaper article about an unknown accident.
This text literally fills me with questions and theories
Your theory is really interesting, and it made me think about my own interpretation of the story.
My theory was that the king might have been killed by his own subjects because of what he did. When we play under the name “Crownus”, some scenes appear where the king provides for his people, but he also says they must repay him with whatever they can. It feels like he expected them to give back even more than what he gave them.
Later he sells his lands to another kingdom, which could make the people even more angry or desperate.
There is also that scene with the farmer. If we choose the last option and tell him to deal with the problem himself, he becomes furious and asks us not to act like “him”. I think he meant the previous king. In that moment his face suddenly becomes more animated. At first I thought it was his human face, but then I noticed he was still a marionette.
And remember how Knighter said Jestyn’s plan was ridiculous? What if the plan is actually about finding a new ruler for the kingdom — but this time a human instead of a puppet? Maybe things ended badly before because the previous king was also a puppet.
The missing people might also be connected. Maybe they were candidates who tried to pass some kind of test, and those who failed disappeared. That line — “If ruling a kingdom were easy, we would have fewer rulers” — makes me think we are not the first one to try.
Overall, your theory is really cool. It also makes me wonder how the MC would react if they discovered the truth behind all of this.
