23. Misophone - Where Has It gone, All The Beautiful Music Of Our Grandparents (Kning Disk, 2007)
Listen if you like: gipsy music, Beirut, Tom Waits, Daniel Johnston, Appalachian Folk, oldtime music
If you thought Beirut did something good with Balkan and gipsy music, you really should listen to this band from Bristol, UK! This album should get way more attention, and I suggest that everyone who likes this song would put it on his own tumblr.
Anyway, they sound like old postcards found in an Yugoslav museum, next to the collection Automatons.
