I swear to whatever higher power there is, reading comprehension and the ability to infer is completely gone from the internet.
I knit. I knit primarily with wool. I said on Reddit that I don’t wear hand knit socks in summer. Man tells me to try wool. I say I’ve tried it, commercial cotton socks work better because they do not trap heat. He comes back to tell me again how great wool is.
WOOL IS FIRST AND FOREMOST AN INSULATOR. It’s 90 fucking degrees with 90% humidity out here from May til September. It’s the one time a year I don’t have cold feet, I DON’T NEED INSULATION.
I don’t need to try wool. I ALREADY HAVE Kyle. Then Bethany chimes in “wool is best for all seasons”. No Bethany, it’s not. There’s a reason our ancestors wore fucking LINEN most of the time. God forbid a woman doesn’t want swamp toes and already knows what works for her.
