Description: Youjin is your s/o and he is really nervous to meet your parents, the rest of the members end up teasing him for it.
Youjin had this slightly annoyed look on his face as he leaned back in his chair and stared over at the two idiots that were busy teasing him. Heejun and Inseong were giggling and and messing around with Youjin because he was so nervous to meet his partner’s parents. They thought it was really funny that their usual, calm and collected hyung was suddenly all jittery and pale faced.
“Hyung, you’ve never been so nervous before this is actually really funny,” said Inseong, grinning over at Youjin, giving him that little gummy smile of his.
Youjin merely narrowed his eyes over at Inseong, kicking out with his leg hoping to catch the younger before he merely ignored the two of them and looked down at his phone, texting you to see when he should come over to your apartment.
“Hyung is so nervous, look he’s even shaking his leg,” said Heejun, giggling already before running up to Youjin and trying to wrap his arms around Youjin’s neck, making little kissing noises and trying to plant a kiss on Youjin’s cheek.
“Our Youjinnie hyung is growing up, leaving the nest, he’s finally getting some acti-” he let out an oomph as Youjin pushed him to the side, causing him to fall down onto the floor. He let out a laugh and wiggled his eyebrows as he glanced over at Inseong who was trying to contain his laughter.
“Yah, you two better shut up,” said Youjin, standing up and walking pass Inseong, flicking him on the forehead before he was about to walk out of the practice room. Inseong pouted, rubbing his forehead before he felt Heejun wrapping his arms around him and the two of them quickly followed Youjin out from the practice room to their dorms.
Youjin finally made his way up to the dorms without killing Inseong or Heejun. The two of them still being cheeky little shits and making fun of him because of how worried he was. They eventually calmed down though when they got a glare from Youjin and they got bored when he wasn’t responding to their teasing anymore.
Youjin found Jihun and Seungjun both relaxing on the couch, Seungjun curled up under a blanket with Jihun resting his head on his shoulder. They were watching some drama on tv when Youjin walked in and flopped down in the couch next to them. He sighed out heavily, head in his hands as he stared down at the floor.
He was really worried that he was going to mess up when he met your parents. He wanted them to like him because he really liked you. He wanted to make a good impression and so he was stressing out. He was scared they weren’t going to like him or that they’d be very intimidating and scary. It was sort of like a little confirmation that he was good enough for you.
“Hyung, you’re meeting y/n’s parent’s tonight, right?” asked Jihun, lifting his head up from Seungjun’s shoulder only to get it pushed back down again by Seungjun. Youjin nodded his head as the door to their door opened and Heejun and Inseong came walking in hand in hand. Youjin merely groaned out as they had those little cheeky grins on their faces again.
“Youjin and y/n sitting in the tree k-i-s-s-i,” Youjin tossed a pillow at both at them and stared over at Seungjun and Jihun.
“They’re children,” he muttered under his breath, glaring over at them as they quickly ran away from the room.
“I mean, it’s a little bit funny. We’ve never seen you so nervous before not even before going on stage,” said Seungjun, smiling slightly as he stretched out his leg and pushed Youjin’s.
“You really like y/n, don’t you?” he asked. Youjin fiddled around with a little thread on his jeans, tugging at it slightly before nodding his head.
“Yeah, I’m worried y/n’s parent’s don’t like me or don’t approve,” he said quietly, looking down at his phone to see that you were going to come to his dorm instead. He let out a heavy sigh.
“You can be a little brooding I suppose and grumpy and you don’t like skinship and you always give us these weird looks whe-”
“Okay, I get it,” he said, cutting off Seungjun with a glare. The man just gave him a little smile and turned back over to the tv. Youjin rubbed at his face with both of his hands.
“I don’t get why you’re so worried, hyung. I mean, y/n likes you for who you are. You’re a pretty good person too. Their parents will no doubt like you too because they can see how much you care for her and how much she cares for you. If you just smile and be polite it will be fine. Not like you’re marrying them,” mumbled Jihun, actually speaking the truth and making sense.
Youjin nodded his head. He supposed he was thinking too much about it and worrying about it. He just cared for you so much that he didn’t want to mess up. He stood up, giving a glare to the two idiots on the floor before walking pass the couple on the couch, let’s face it they were practically dating at this point, before moving to his room to get ready.
Youjin made his way over to your apartment. He knew the passcode to your door and he entered it before slipping inside. He could hear you getting ready in your room, the hairdryer going off. He smiled as he saw you, he was leaning against your door frame with flowers in his hand.
“Are those for me?” you asked him, not entirely surprised that he was suddenly in your room. He often came over unannounced and sort of just slinked his way in. He was quiet like that.
He shook his head. “Nope, they’re for your parents,” he said as he walked over towards you, giving you a soft kiss, “that was for you though.”
You could easily tell how nervous he was. He kept on looking around your room and glancing over at his phone, most likely checking the time. He seemed so nervous to meet your parents that you almost found it endearing. You knew how kind he could be and how your parents would most likely really love him.
“You’re nervous, huh?” you asked him as you readied yourself in your mirror.
“Hmm? It’s obvious, huh?”
You nodded your head and walked over towards him. You tilted your head back to look up at him. You wrapped your arms around him and hugged yourself to him.
“Don’t worry too much, okay? My parents are going to love you. You’re kind and sweet, you care for me a lot too,” you whispered. You pulled away, brushing your hands down along his clothes to smooth it out.
He smiled slightly. He waited for you to get ready so that the two of you could leave. You had around twenty minutes before you were meant to get to their house.
“We’re gonna be late and it’s not even going to be my fault,” he called out, already walking towards your door, putting on his shoes and getting ready to leave. You had to practically run after him, wrapping your arm around his and giving him an encouraging smile.
“Just smile and be yourself, okay? I love you for who you are and so will they.”
Youjin couldn’t help the grin that tugged at his lips, his eyes lighting up slightly at your encouraging words. He felt better, happier with you around and with that the two of you left to meet your parents for dinner.
Youjin feeling a lot lighter and you trying not to laugh at how adorable he could truly be.
A/N- I’m sorry these are so short ugh. I’m just not catching ideas for them as easily as I thought
----------------
The movie played through the speakers louder as the suspense grew. The horror movie ideas was Seungjuns, but you both were regretting it quickly. Both of you hadn’t watched a horror movie properly since the day you got together, or at all in general. You wanted to watch a movie with him, so he suggested it. And the idea excited you.
The main character roamed the halls of the mansion, a flashlight shaking in their right hand. You grabbed onto your boyfriend, silently praying that they didn’t run into anything bad. You could hear Seungjun mumbling the same wishes as you, hugging you closer. Things escalated quickly in the movie as a noise made itself clear on the opposite end of the hall.
You both were now practically shaking, grabbing each others hands as tight as possible. You were prepared to bury yourself into Seungjun’s shoulder if anything happened, and you could tell he was prepared to fly off the couch and into his room. The suspense killed you both. The main character was walking too slow, their breath ragged and hands shaking even more than before.
Just as things were going to get worse, the movie paused. “I think we’re done here!” Seungjun flung the remote back onto the table in front of you and sat back, bringing you close for a hug.
“But we weren’t even done.” You didn’t want to see the end, but you also didn’t want to go to bed that night either.
“I’m not watching it. We can watch a happier movie! Something less,” He paused and stared at the screen as if it held all of his deepest secrets, “Creepy.”
You sat quietly for a second before both of you made the decision to change it to a nicer move. You exchanged looks with Seungjun, silently having a conversation. In a split second he got up to go get a new movie as you ran off to go grab snacks.
